I stayed at the San Cristobal Hotel for seven nights on a bed and breakfast basis during September. The hotel has an ideal location in the centre of Marbella next to the Casco Antiguo and five minutes walk to the beach. The rooms are equiped to a satisfactory standard and cleaned well daily. There was a good selection at the... more

We stayed at the Hotel San Cristobal for three nights while visiting Spain in March. First, the positives: -Location. If you want to be in the center of Marbella, it's tough to beat. The hotel is a very short walk to either the beach or the old town; it's right on the edge of the old town, in fact. Get... more

I have to say the San Cristobal was one of the best 3* places I have stayed in. Our travel agents made the mistake of only booking us a twin room when there were three of us. The staff quickly corrected the mistake and we were allocated a triple room the next day. Even when we saw the twin room,... more

The best point about this hotel is it's location - it's right in the centre of town, close to the Old Town, opposite the Alameda Park and a stroll down the Avenida del Mar (which takes you to the promenade where all the restaurants & shops are). The hotel is in some old 60s concrete building and a "shopping department"... more

Spent 3 nights here attending a family event in Marbella. The rooms are quite small and dated and the whole place could do with a refit. The location is great, opposite the park and beside the old town but for over 90 euro a night I think you could do better elsewhere. more

I just came back from staying at the San Cristobal for 3 nights. I found the comments about the car park provided in San Francisco review dated 16 April very helpful. The hotel helpfully provide parking and a safe key at a cost of about 9 or 10 Euros per day plus VAT (or IVA as they say). It took... more

The San Cristobal couldn't be more centrally located, right in front of the old town and just a few blocks from the beach - right on the main road in town in front of the park. With a car, we had a hard time finding it, because the reception is up on the first floor (not ground floor) and there... more
