I have stayed here on numerous occasions over the years and have nothing but praise for the hotel, yes it is expensive but the service and ambiance of the place make up for it. on several occasions i have been upgraded on several occasions(once to one of the private villas with it's own pool, very nice) although kids are welcome... more

Beautiful place, great setting. Rooms are excellent, roomy & luxurious but with views that can be obstructed. My experience was that Americans who are not conspicuously wealthy -- or frequent guests -- got very inconsistent service. Some people were fantastically helpful, but some were remarkably rude. Not acceptable at these prices. more

Beautiful old world charm combined with immaculate service in a luxurious 5 star hotel in stunning lush green surroundings Fantastic rooms with marble en-suite and dressing room Lovely mix of restaurants serving delicious food and incredible breakfast included with a mountain of fresh fruit like papaya and mango. Faultless service, blown light bulbs changed instantaneously without having to ask and... more

Recently returned from a week in the Marbella Club. What a great hotel. It has all that you would expect from a 5 star hotel but its real asset is its old world charm. Having stayed in many new 5 star hotels, they dont match up to a place like the Marbella Club which has years of history giving the... more

I have been with my family in a wonderful holiday in Costa del Sol and the marbella Club has been the highlight of our jouney. From the wonderful staff to the great accommodation, we had a two bedroom villa with a privata garden and a pool, the hotel is absolutelu outstanding. The staff really makes the difference and I just... more

When I read the reviews, I was like : "Ok, I'm not a celebrity but this place looks so nice"... And indeed, it is! Great and very friendly staff, lovely gardens and very good food! Honestly, maybe they like French people more than other countries, maybe they carefully read the tripadvisor.com reivews, maybe smthg else. But that's for sure: the... more

My wife and me stayed at the MC in Oktober 2008. What a beautyful place! We loved every minute. Lovely gardens, nice and clean rooms and wonderful restaurants. You can feel the history of the place in every minute and still enjoy the modern standart of the place. You have to see the golf course. I guess one of the... more

Stayed two nights in in November. We could never afford this place "in season " but this was a nice way to end our trip . Our room (a suite) was spacious and nice toiletries were kept well-stocked by houskeeping. Chilly nights and nice days. It is a 45 min. walk along the beach/"boardwalk" to the Old Town. However we... more

I stayed at the Marbella Club Hotel with my family at the end of September 2008. We were going to stay there for 3 nights and then travel to Seville but we gave up after 2 nights and checked out early. The biggest problem with this hotel was the service. The staff was unprofessional and unfriendly to the point of... more
