We stayed at the Marriott Marbella Beach Resort for 3 days during a recent trip to Spain. First the positives. Nice apartment, we had a 3 bedroom unit, we are a family of 5 with 2 teenagers and one pre-teen and it was very spacious. The apartment was fully furnished, had a large living room and balcony, it had a... More

We found this resort through TripAdvisor; traveling as one adult, two 17 year olds, two 14 year olds and a 5 year old, expecting to sleep in a king size bed, two twins and a sofabed. The sofabed was a bit small for the size of our teens (think 'fullsize'), so we were okay to pay extra to add a... More

Like the caption says: this is a typical American resort ... big, lavish and at times ostentatious. There is nothing quaint and cozy about this place. There are multiple swimming pools, jacuzzis and saunas, basketball court, bocchi and 24 hour fitness room. The activities schedule is booked to the hilt with everything from Zumba, cooking classes, lectures about the local... More

My wife and I stayed here for a week in November/December 2010. It was a little difficult to find the first time. People in the area were trying to tell us to go to the Marriott Playa Andaluza, which is about twenty to thirty minutes south of the Marbella Beach Resort. Don't follow the driving directions on the Marriott website... More

Marriott's Marbella resort is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed in Europe. Rooms outside of the U.S. are frequently on the small side but this one was spacious. They have their own restaurant overlooking the beach and the smell of the paella cooking in the afternoons was unbelievable! Very nice.

Fab service, gorgeous grounds, immaculate maintenance. Pools were divine. Lovednthe cabanas. Food was great by the pool. Breakfast ok. Little market was great..had everything you needed and prices were reasonable for a resort. Wish every resort was this perfect. Love marriot. Love this resort. Keep up the good work.

We stayed at the Marbella Beach Resort the first week of July, as rental guests, not owners. As such, we were so happy to have been given an ocean front apartment! The apartment and the terrace facing the Mediterranean were awesome! Very well furnished, including a Nespresso machine (5.95 Euro for a pack of 10, which I thought was very... More
