Outstanding stay at Puente Romano, I stayed 2 nights in a Junior Suite. Lovely and peaceful gardens. Very luxury property ideal for either couples, families or business. The staff and the serice was great. We had dinner in the Sea Grill (amazing views, very romantic with a pianist) and also had dinner in Namazake, thier new japanese restaurant. Again outstanding... I vsited the Hotel 6 times already for both business trips with group of 50 people and private. Excellent place with good restaurants (in high season reservation necessary!). For me the best is Sea Grill (with Tandori!), because of beautyful view and good service level. Nice location, direct on the beach, 2 swimmingpools (3 some years ago). AND what makes... More

Absolutely outstanding stay at Puente Romano. Very nice luxury hotel. Perfect with kids as well. You will not be disappointed. Every member of staff were exceptional. We celebrated my son’s 7th birthday there. The concierge helped us to organise a very special birthday with a special gift as swimming with dolphins and sea lions. They were great! The cake and... This is our second stay at the fabulous Puente Romano and if possible it's even better than last time. This time we have a beautiful Junior suite with fabulous Andrew Martin decor , tonnes of space and a gorgeous balcony over looking the gardens. Heaven ! The hotel has had further upgrades all of which just add to its majesty... More

We were a group of 17 in a family staying for 14 nights this summer, group is aged 80's to 40's and six children from 9 upwards. The Hotel sits in beautiful grounds just off the Golden mile between Marbella And Peurto Banus so you can expect it to be exclusive, and it lives up to this admirably. Suites are... More

Overall we were very pleased with the hotel. Went with our two young children and made good use of the pool and beach facilities. Room was very nice and appointed exactly as expected though could have used a little more light and better air conditioning. The grounds of the hotel are simply gorgeous- romantic for adults and plenty of cute... More

If you want four days off from the world, take a BA Club class flight to Malaga, a taxi from the airport and move into a junior suite at the Puente Romano near Marbella for three nights. Job done. The suite was comfortable, the food in their restaurants was good and the staff ( apart from one) were friendly and... More

This is a fantastic property built around a magnificent garden and creek that runs all the way from the top (reception and shop area) to the very beach. We booked here for a family retreat beginning of August including 4 families with adults, teenagers and kids. It is fair to say that the property has something for all age groups.... More

Bearing in mind that we travel a lot both in Europe & The USA, this hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Apart from the excellent staff, the quality and variety of food offered is of the highest standard. We will defiantly be staying here again and recommending it to all our friends.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Puente Romano, member of The Leading Hotels of the World, is situated on the southern coast of Spain in the Costa del Sol within the “Golden Mile”, a residential area between Marbella and Puerto Banus, just 35 minutes’ drive from Málaga Airport. The heart of the Resort and its social focus is the Roman Bridge (Puente Romano) from which the property takes its name. This ancient artefact from the first century is a remaining structure of a road which once linked Cadiz with Rome, the Via Augusta.Resembling an Andalusian village, the 278 spacious guest rooms are spread in 27 three–storey villas, scattered around 55.000 sq. m. of lush, sub-tropical landscaped gardens, gently cascading down to the Mediterranean Sea. Over 400 species of plant life have been brought to the gardens from all around the world, many literally in a suitcase courtesy of HRH Principe Alfonso de Hohenlohe, the founder of the Puente Romano. ... more   less
