Overall we were very pleased with the hotel. Went with our two young children and made good use of the pool and beach facilities. Room was very nice and appointed exactly as expected though could have used a little more light and better air conditioning. The grounds of the hotel are simply gorgeous- romantic for adults and plenty of cute... More

If you want four days off from the world, take a BA Club class flight to Malaga, a taxi from the airport and move into a junior suite at the Puente Romano near Marbella for three nights. Job done. The suite was comfortable, the food in their restaurants was good and the staff ( apart from one) were friendly and... More

This is a fantastic property built around a magnificent garden and creek that runs all the way from the top (reception and shop area) to the very beach. We booked here for a family retreat beginning of August including 4 families with adults, teenagers and kids. It is fair to say that the property has something for all age groups.... More

Bearing in mind that we travel a lot both in Europe & The USA, this hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Apart from the excellent staff, the quality and variety of food offered is of the highest standard. We will defiantly be staying here again and recommending it to all our friends.

Just back from a fabulous weekend . This was our third time returning . We stayed in a suite which I would highly recommend . The service in the hotel was excellent and you could not ask for a better location. A visit to Suite bar is a must. The guy on the drums is amazing.

As a family we've been going there for the past 10 years, and without exception every year it gets better, more restaurant choice and facilities - the tapas bar and the new Don Garcia restaurant were personal favourites whilst you can never tire of the Sea grill with its amazing Paella! If you have active kids it perfect as the... More

We found the service levels and atmosphere spot on. Having returned after ten years away it was great to see the changes had enhanced rather than ruined a favourite old haunt. Golf course is a challenge but stunning views, very private and exceptional in that it is relatively under played. Recommend a lunch on the clubhouse terrace.

The Hotel Puente Romano, member of The Leading Hotels of the World, is situated on the southern coast of Spain in the Costa del Sol within the “Golden Mile”, a residential area between Marbella and Puerto Banus, just 35 minutes’ drive from Málaga Airport. The heart of the Resort and its social focus is the Roman Bridge (Puente Romano) from which the property takes its name. This ancient artefact from the first century is a remaining structure of a road which once linked Cadiz with Rome, the Via Augusta.Resembling an Andalusian village, the 278 spacious guest rooms are spread in 27 three–storey villas, scattered around 55.000 sq. m. of lush, sub-tropical landscaped gardens, gently cascading down to the Mediterranean Sea. Over 400 species of plant life have been brought to the gardens from all around the world, many literally in a suitcase courtesy of HRH Principe Alfonso de Hohenlohe, the founder of the Puente Romano. ... more   less
