Had a week in the Puente Romano and couldn't fault it. We stayed in V block, and had a one bedroom apartment which was spotless, plenty of room and beautifully furnished. Yes, the hotel is sprawling but isn't that it's attraction. Nice low level buildings and not an eyesore like some of the hotels along this strip. Breakfast is really... more

The Leading Hotels of the World brand is usually one which I trust. This hotel falls far short on so many counts. The property seems to be a collection of apartments which someone decided to rebrand as an hotel. The signage is abysmal and, with a property as complex as this, it is almost impossible to find the reception if... more

This hotel, once famed for being the most exclusive on the southern coast of Spain and playing host to the likes of Princess Diana, is now a time -worn relic. In the age of the boutique hotel the rooms appeared dated, dirty, poorly maintained and furnished in a style that fortunately hasn't been seen since 1981. There was mould growing... more

One of us visited this hotel 25 years ago and was interested to see how the fabulous botanical gardens were doing. They are truly lovely. We booked one of the more expensive beach side suites and apart from the long hike for breakfast and meals (at the other end of the grounds) we found it comfortable if a bit in... more

We enjoyed a long weekend at the start of September...just after the school holidays. Weather was fantastic, very high 29s, so if you're not keen on sharing your holiday with other peoples kids, I'd recommend this time of year. However, the downside of it not being 'peak' season is that the facilities on the beach are pretty much non-existent. Not... more

This is a large hotel but doesn't seem it, it has all the quality and service of a luxury small hotel of the world, but because of it's size you can remain perfectly anonymous. Our room was fabulous and with a wonderful balcony, superb bathroom, wonderful sitting room & an enormous comfortable bed - and this was only in the... more

We took our daughter to this hotel to celebrate her 21st birthday along with her younger sister (19). On the whole we were VERY impressed. As others have said, the breakfast buffet is excellent, although they could do with upgrading the filter coffee which was close to undrinkable. The wireless broadband did not work at all for us in the... more

My favourite hotel anywhere without a doubt! We stayed 6 nights and everyone at the hotel made it an amazing experience. Fantastic hospitality. Great restaurants, a superb world class golf course with stunning views as far as Africa on the horizon (we played every day!) Great beach club and lots of fun for the kids at their club - hard... more
