We have just returned from a family trip to La Orquidea and on first arriving we were somewhat dissappointed as the premises are a bit old and tired looking. Our view didnt improve much when we found out our 'penthouse' rooms were on the 5th floor and there is no lift! there is also no air conditioning in the rooms... more

This place is something else, I love it here, I have been 3 times this year. The pools are very clean, bar staff are very nice and helpfull, entertainment is good. We used to walk down the hill and go to sisters bar and so on but then get a taxi back up for 5 euros. there is a train... more
