The hotel is right next to the railway station and gives great access to the airport and city. The hotel design is very modern and not to my taste ,However the bedrooms are wonderful and the hotel staff excellent.A very good modern hotel.

The location of Barcelo Malaga is excellent if you’re arriving by train from the airport as the hotel is in the Malaga Maria Zambrano station building. Access is in the station so we felt very safe even later at night and we considered Maria Zambrano station to be bright, modern and very spacious. We felt welcome though there was some... More

Had not been back to this hotel for quite a while as on my last visit there was a bad smell not only in my room but the entire floor I was on. Hard to pin down what it was but was quite strong and unpleasant. Went back this time to try it again but the smell remains so I... More

For some reason my impression of this hotel is different from many other reviewers'. The hotel is adjacent to the train station and is perfect if you are traveling by train or bus. But it is a good 20 min walk/ 5 euro away by taxi from the center of the city. Our room was comfortable but I had more... More

I selected this hotel for a group who stayed on for a day or so following a weeklong yoga retreat that I led nearby at the Hacienda near Montefrio. The hotel is very affordable, and is located right next to the train and bus station and only a 20EUR taxi ride from the hotel. Our group was taking the bus... More

Being adjacent to Maria Zambrano station makes the hotel very convenient for late arrival from the airport and for picking up hire cars. 10 minute walk to the Alameda Principal, 15 minutes to the town centre and 25-30 mins to the beach and bull ring. The area round the hotel and station is fine - there are several places you... More

Perfect location, good value clean cool room, nice breakfast and overall a very pleasant hotel. But the food in "Lounge B" was terrible, so much so that we complained at checkout and they removed the cost. Would go back but eat elsewhere

Just back from a 4 night stay - location is fantastic - we had a late flight into Malaga - its an 8 min train journey into the station - the hotel is right beside it. About a 10 min walk into the centre/cathedral - with plenty of buses running through out the day. Nearest beach about a 15 min... More

This is a very large modern hotel right at the main train station of malaga. We booked here for one night after landing late in malaga and before moving to other places. We expected a functional hotel not something memorable and we got what we expected. The hotel is conveniently located 10/15 minute walk from the main pedestrian area in... More
