Stayed one night recently as our destination was too far to drive after the flight. The overall decor and ambience is well thought out and slightly quirky, which in the UK would put it into the 'boutique' category at at least £100p.n. The room was quiet and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. The fridge would have been appreciated had we... More

Hotel California We spent five nights at the Hotel California in Málaga and we really enjoyed it. The location was very pleasant, about 200 metres from the beach. Breakfast was served at the table, with cereals, croissant, yoghurt, cheese or ham, fruit, tea or coffee and orange juice. We enjoyed sitting on the flat roof of the hotel where there... More

Our room was fab the 'designer'style bathroom truly exceeded every expectation! Really friendly staff too! Great catered breakfast...not buffet style. 3 minutes walk to Caleta Playa. A truly perfecto boutique style hotel. Highly recommended.

I have been staying at this family hotel every spring for 15 years and the brothers and their sister have allways made me feel welcome. There is a rooftop terrace for sunbathing and the beach is just 100 m away, this is Malagueta. Breakfast is served elegantly and personally, even outside in the garden when the weather is fine. The... More

Malaga is a city that is so overlooked by travelers to Costa Del Sol.Everyone flies into the airport & off to other places. STOP, stay here & enjoy a fantastic, vibrant city/beach break. There is so much to see, culture in abundance,history- beautiful gardens, harbour, fantastic beaches & promenade, perfect weather even in winter. Hotel California is perfectly situated between city &... More

This hotel has an excellent location with a 3 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the old city. Parking is (can be) free in the street in front of the hotel. Good service, clean room and an adequate breakfast. This is served @ table and is the same every day. Hotel has some nice (but... More

Very happy with our choice for a week based in Malaga. A short downhill stroll to the promenade and the beach. Lovely walk into the centre via the new marina. Alternatively, there's a bus stop just a few yards away and any number bus will take you straight into the main shopping and restaurant area for only 1Euro 30 per... More

My friend and I stayed in this hotel for one night in September 2014. The pros are that it has a cute exterior, quaint lobby with fresh flowers, modern floors and fixtures, a cute rooftop deck, and is a short walk to the beach and only a moderate walk to the old part of Malaga. The cons are that the... More

This Hotel has a beautiful Spanish feel, is clean and tidy and the staff are all lovely. We were lucky enough to get a balcony with a view of the sea. Breakfast is 9 euros but oh was it worth it :D. The hotel itself is situated 2 minutes from the beach, there's about a 10-15 minute walk to the... More

Fantastic choice. Great price great location 20 minutes walk from centre 5 mins from beach front. Hotel looks like it's been an old house possibly. Staff friendly rooms clean and a wee bit quirky breakfast is brought to your table. Fruit muesli bread ham and cheese Worked for us. Roof terrace caught the sun all day. Just what we wanted....
