We stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is about 20 mins from the airport by taxi and is close to the rail station and the bus station, but 20 min walk ,(or a 5€ taxi ride) from the centre of town We were able to explore Malaga, Seville and Granada in the weekend. Spotless hotel; very quiet (except for the... more

We spent a night here. Location is five minutes walk from rail/bus station overlooking sea/docks (not as bad as it sounds!) and about ten minutes walk from town centre. Very modern luxury business hotel. Friendly cheerful staff. Excellent buffet breakfast. Spacious well appointed rooms/bathrooms. Highly recommended. more

Hotel Monte Malaga is a good hotel, with everything you could expect from a **** hotel, except for the location. The hotel is situated at a busy road. On the other side of the road is an ugly cargo harbor. There is also some serious construction work going on around the hotel. Perhaps the area will be better in a... more

This hotel follows the formula of practically all hotel blocks throughout the world. Its huge marbled foyer greets anonymously though the chap on reception was very polite, speaking impeccable English and giving us directions to the old town, fifteen minutes walk away. The car park is below the hotel with a lift to all floors. The room follows the rest... more

Large clean soundproofed rooms with all the amenities you would expect in a 4 star location. Free wireless (Wi-Fi) internet was a great addition to the rooms (make sure to get a login/pass from the reception first). Free electronic safe in the closet. Satellite TV (Digital+) and Radio/CD player. Mini-bar stacked with multiple drinks. The pool closes at 10:30pm but... more

There are some really good reviews for this hotel - thanks. This is a new hotel, with large comfortable rooms. Even though we like to be out alot we like to have space to read and relax. This is really a business type hotel but that suited us perfectly. It is located five minutes from Malaga Old Town, less than... more

We stayed here on our last night in spain, as it was close to the airport. There is an underground carpark, but you have to go to reception first. The room was clean and the bathroom was spotless with nice toiletries. The LED lights on the aircon kept me awake but otherwise the room was very comfortable. The view was... more

We stayed in this hotel for four days in March room only. Despite being situated on the busy road which runs along the coast there is no perceptible traffic noise once inside. The hotel is plush and very well maintained with a large airy reception and lounge bar area AND the staff are friendly. Our room was a good size... more

Stayed for 5 nights at the Monte Malaga in October 2007. Location is about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Malaga. Don't be deceived by ''sea view''. The hotel in fact overlooks the port and the outlook is not brilliant. However the hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff friendly and helpful and the room was spacious, modern and clean.... more
