The hotel was much further from the center of Malaga than we expected. Some sites said it was a 10 minute walk, this is definitely not true. It was at least 30mins (and we are quite fit) across busy roads. For that reason only, we wouldnt stay there again as we constantly used taxis to get to and from the... more

Just back from a stay at the Silken Malaga and found the hotel to be good value for money, but there were both positives and negatives. The room rate, food and bar prices were all very reasonable. The rooms were clean and large, with comfortable beds and a good selection of amenties. Breakfast in the hotel was also very good... more

Just returned from this hotel. We were a party of eleven. The hotel is clean, modern interior, excellent sized rooms and the staff were very helpful and informative. We loved the jacuzzi and sauna facilities at the hotel and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. This was our first time in Malaga and we were very impressed. The station is a... more

The Silken was a beautiful hotel. It was clean, decor was pretty and the reception was welcoming. I stayed here only one night but I would stay again because it was 2 blocks from the train and bus station. I used the train to and from Malaga on my visit. My only disappointment was with the spa. I really wanted some... more

Spontanously i decided to make a trip to Malaga. When booked this hotel on their homepage, I was suprised by the low rates. A normal room costs around 60 EUR, and a "Club Room" 95 EUR. I wanted a bigger room, so I decided to take a Club Room. Upon arrival I discovered that this was a real Junior Suite... more

We stayed at the Puerta Malaga for one night recently, and were very pleased with our experience. We got a great deal - paying only about $75 for a Saturday night stay - and it was an incredible value. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a great spa on... more

The best hotel we stayed in throughout our trip. It has a very spacious lobby, and the rooms were really big and comfortable. Ditto for toilets, which had great stuff in it. Lovely spa on the top floor, which is free. And the front office staff is very helpful. Very clean, well appointed, sheets changed everyday, it has a safe... more

I booked this hotel only to have a quiet rest before a long trip towards the Portugal border and I was very impressed indeed. The hotel is only 1-2 years old, very stylish decoration, the room has every little detail (freebies are a delight), great choice for breakfast catering for both Spanish (myself) and foreign (my family) taste guests alike.... more
