I spent one night in this hotel before catching a flight from Malaga in the morning. The hotel is only a 5 min walk from the rail and bus station. The rooms were not super-modern but acceptable. Wi-Fi is free which is a big plus. There are not many restaurants in the area but the train station features a big...

When I moved into the room, the bed was in the condition the pre-occupant left it (no joke). The bath was devoid of courtesy articles (e.g. soap, shower gel) and the rubbish was still in the bin. After having been into town for a couple of hours nothing had changed. Handing over of rubbish at the reception did not trigger...

This hotel is in a good location 5 minutes walk from the railway station, close to shops (door for El Corte Ingles is 20 feet away).
The hotel is sparkly clean and the room was spacious with good facilities. The bathroom was lovely and the beds were very comfortable.
We ate in the cafeteria/bar from the restauant menu and we...

Silken Puerta Malaga is conveniently located opposite Railway Station and only 5 minute’s walk to the main Coach Station.
Members of staff in the hotel were highly professional, very helpful and pleasant.
I was unpleasantly surprised to find out that in reality the hotel did not look near as modern and sheek as on the photographs.

The service in the hotel was very good.
Abandon all ideas of internet connection in this hotel, i had to sit beside the elevator to get reception which was not always guaranteed! staff did not seem to care that there was no reception so i was unable to work......which is what i was there for!
Interesting choice of location, walk...

This is a great, clean hotel.
1. Location
About 15mins walk outside of the city centre. Its opposite some local flats and our room window actually overlooked someones washing line (but they have thick curtains so you don't have to look at it!). There is a supermarket opposite the main entrance which stocks all manner of food and clothes as...

We chose Hotel Silken Puerta Malaga because of its location clause to train and bus stations.
It is also near the beach.
Staff at the reception was quick and assisted us with queries that came along.
The room was neat.
Couldn't open any window! Bathroom had a bathtub, either an advantage or disadvantage (in a hot place who take cold...

Positives...close to the train station for connections to Airport & City Centre, nice facilities and reasonable staff at the hotel.
Negatives...on the fifth floor the wifi worked for about an hour on one of the five nights I was there which for business is very poor. The TV remote wasn't working when I arrived, on day 2 I reminded them...

Very nice, and modern. The reception desk staff were definitely most friendly and helpful of all the places we stayed. A little far from the center of town and the Picasso museum, we walked. After spending 2 hours driving around town to find the place, we were afraid to get back in the car so we walked everywhere else!
