This place has gorgeous views over malaga which is what it trades on. Staff are really friendly and attentive . Restaurant ok but not stunning. Down side, bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Noise from other rooms plumbing was audible and off putting. Bit of an unpleasant drain smell in bathroom. Please note that pool is on separate floor to... More

If you are planning a trip to Malaga, you must stay at Hotel Villa Guadalupe. You will have the most amazing view of the entire city and be taken care of by very friendly and attentive staff. The food is 5 star all the way and the presentation is like viewing at piece of art: Get your cameras ready! Restaurant... More

Villa Guadalupe is a great hotel. Ambience is very relaxed; welcome from Alex and Antonio is terrific. Food is really first class and view across the city in the evening is magical. Love the art spread generously throughout. Not central - but taxi or car / cab gets you into town no problem. Location on top of hill is great... More

So often a hotel can be good at some aspects and not so good at others. Here, the booking experience, the welcome, the room quality and the food, were hard to fault - staff were efficient and polite, friendly not corporate. The rooms (we stayed on the night of our arrival and again before our departure) were comfortable, clean and... More

We stayed two separate nights at Villa Guadalupe with our kids, on our way in and out of Malaga (it's a 15-20 minute drive to the airport). Both times were lovely. The hotel rooms are big, nice, clean and well appointed and have easily accessible power points (a pet peeve of mine!). The bathrooms are very good. Some of the... More

This was our first trip to Europe and wasn't quite sure what to expect for accommodations. We were greeted by very friendly staff at Hotel Villa Guadalupe when we arrived. We had no problem communicating even though we did not speak Spanish. Antonio and Alex were so helpful and tried their best to give us an enjoyable stay. We were... More

After about a week of travelling to a few cities in Europe, Hotel Villa Guadalupe and Restaurante Amador was a very pleasant experience! This is my second time visiting this establishment and it was just as much of a pleasure this time as it was the first. The staff are so accommodating and inviting that it is hard not to... More

Arriving here after 4 weeks already on the road, the hotel was a beautiful, relaxing and quiet oasis, nestled in the hills. The twisting turns up the hill through houses do not seem like they lead to a hotel - but they do! A car is essential to access - walking is a long hard hike and the immediate surrounding... More

Let me get something straight from the start. Before I review any Hotel/Restaurant etc. I read the WORST reviews first and take it from there. Places do not conform to everyone's taste and one mans nectar is another mans Japanese Knot Weed! The V.Guadalupe is a small family run bijou hotel atop of a massive hill at the back of... More
