We stayed here before and after our Christmas holiday. What a wonderful find this was. It is in the hills behind Malaga and has spectacular views across the city, by day and night. The staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. They suggested things to do and helped in any way they could. This is a small hotel... More

Travelling in Spain for 5 weeks, we decided to use HVG as our base for travel in Andalucia. A great price, it was a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Friendly, helpful staff, delicious meals at Amador, free parking and beautiful views of the city. The location means that the drive up and down from HVG is not for sissies,... More

We stayed here for four nights, and essentially used it as our base as we made day trips to Granada, Gibraltar, and Malaga city center. Given that we had the car, it was easy for us to use Google maps and find the hotel. It was pretty steep to get up to the hotel, but we got used to it.... More

I chose this hotel for free parking, close to airport. The extra special notes were the artwork, the view from the room's balcony, and the fabulous restaurant. A family-run, boutique hotel may not be to your taste, but it surely was mine.

We stayed in this small hotel twice, first in September 2014 and again in September 2015. On both occasions we spent two nights, and dined in the restaurant each evening. There the similarities end. On our first visit the owners were present or around the place most of the time, lending a personal touch to the ambience of the restaurant,... More

We only stayed here for one night at the end of our trip - having enjoyed the quiet of inland Andalusia, driving into Malaga was a bit of a shock. Thank goodness we'd booked a room here - the hotel is set in the hills well away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The view is beautiful, and... More

A bit out of town up on a hill with a fantastic view of the city by day and night. THe cab drivers know how to get there, A long winding road up the hill with switchbacks. Rooms are comfortable with a small balcony. There is a salt water pool and a large deck area.

Very friendly, small staff group (so not always visible!), great service in organising a reliable early-morning taxi to the airport. Room: we had a double with no balcony and adequate bathroom (a few extra toiletries might have been provided in addition to shower gel, eg disposable toothbrush, shampoo / conditioner, razor - all of which were in our previous Air... Having tried several Hotels in Malaga over the years. This really is the only one. Yes it is not in the centre of Malaga, but if you have a car you do not want a hotel in the centre.Once you leave the main road it is well signposted ,just follow the yellow signs. The service continues to be fantastic, despite some team changes.Yes... More

We loved this place with a few caveats. Our room was great. The view from the restaraunt at night was fantastic overlooking Malaga, and the food was quite good. The staff was friendly, and we were the only ones using the pool in October. Breakfast was more than adequate when compared to typical hotel breakfasts in Spain. You do need... More
