We recently stayed at this hotel for three nights. Absolutely lovely position, fantastic views, but definitely needed a GPS or we would never of found it. Food was delicious, especially the fish dishes. A great choice of breakfast too. Loved the art work.

Exquisito exquisite in any language. Traditional and the art work everywhere was engrossing. The views were ecstatic. The gourmet food was over the top. I like a more rustic menu with heartier portions. Until we meet again.

The hotel is set at the top of a hill/mountain. It's steep and can be an exhausting walk. But if you are comfortable with staying the view is all you need. The staff was incredible. So Polite, So Knowledgeable. They treat you like family. The only issue is the location of the hotel. It's not conveniently close to anything of... More

That was my first thought after our arrival to Villa Guadalupe. We arrived a bit early but were warmly greeted by Candice, who showed us around. We chose to stay by the pool and enjoy the sunshine until our room is ready. The views were amazing, overlooking the whole town but yet enjoying the peace and silence. We had upgraded... More

Set high overlooking Malaga, this attractive, white Hotel imaginatively decorated inside with Picasso inspired artwork, is a good place to stay. There was a great welcome by staff at the beginning and throughout our stay. The room was well furnished with generous wardrobe space and the nice touch of extra plugs. Everything worked. The restaurant serves a good standard of... More

We were there in February. Because it is off season, we pretty much had the hotel to ourselves. The hotel locates on the hill that overlooks the Malaga city. It is ran by two brothers, one is managing the hotel, one is the chief. Hotel is very clean and very cozy. Service is great. View from every window, in the... More

Spectacular view, beautifully appointed room, haute cuisine, friendly staff--everything one could want to top off a week in the Mediterranean. Dinner overlooking the city lights was fabulous, and everything we ordered from the unusually varied menu was artfully presented and delicious--a memorable evening!

The location of Villa Guadalupe is exceptional with unbelievable views of Malaga, a small (only I think 11 rooms) and cunningly concealed up in the Hills above the City; a good GPS will do the trick. From the moment we walked into the Hotel it was perfect. The most efficient friendly and welcoming staff. A small staff , Yes, but... More

I would highly recommend this lovely hotel for anyone wishing to stay in Malaga. It sits high above Malaga and therefore has beautiful views of the city and harbour. The dinning room has especially nice views. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The last night we decided to stay and try the food. We ate, by far the best... More

We spent a week at Hotel Villa Guadalupe in January and it was a memorable experience. The hotel is charming and a refreshing alternative to a sterile typical hotel chain. The hotel is nestled in hills above Malaga, with a spectacular panaramic view of the city and the sea. Restaurant Amador is connected to the hotel. The food is home... More
