We chose this hotel on the basis of its ranking as the top Malaga hotel on TripAdvisor. We wanted a hotel for a one night stopover at the start of our holiday, so we were looking for somewhere close to the airport with a stress free drive and easy parking. It was a straightforward drive from the airport, and the... More

When we have boarded cruises in Malaga before, we have always overnighted somewhere in the centre of the town, but, on our visit this month, thanks to tripadvisor reviews and visits to the hotel web site, we decided to spend a couple of days at Hotel Villa Guadalupe and were delighted. It is quite a climb and you certainly would... More

So refreshing to be in a hotel that is individual and not a chain! Fantastic size rooms with balcony overlooking Malaga and the sea. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff exceedingly friendly. And all that just 15 minutes drive from Malaga airport. A great find.

I visited because I read that was the best hotel in Malaga...It s a beautiful little place with eleven rooms. Room is good size but I had the bad luck that the heater did not work and I froze all night. Actually I slept very little. The place is run by exchange hotel students that speak very little spanish. The... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Had a room with a large balcony (even had a sun lounger) with fantastic views of the city - especially at night. Room was quite a good size, clean and lots os cupboard, hanging space. There was a free safe. The bathroom had a bath and overhead shower, but was all a little cramped. We ate... More

We just visited Malaga for the first time and we stayed in this lovely hotel for two nights. We hired a car and the hotel offers free parking which was perfect for us. We arrived late and fortunately the restaurant was still open and the views from the restaurant of the lights of Malaga spread out way below us was... More

We stayed one night at this hotel in April 2015 and had a great stay. Antonio and his collegaues are doing their very utmost to ensure that guests enjoy their stay, and have a lovely informal tone. Our room was small but nice, with comfortable beds and a good bathroom. But choose a room with a view, - since you... More

We enjoyed a terrific stay in Villa Guadalupe. The helpfulness of the staff is exquisite. There is no problem that cannot be solved. The hotel is located in a very nice, quite area so there is no traffic/fiesta/etc noise as frequently experienced in Spain. Although the hotel is not in the centre it was not a problem since taxi fares... More

We enjoyed a really nice stay in Villa Guadalupe. It is a place full of original art by the owners artist Mother, which lends it a unique air. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It was cold and raining throughout our stay, so I found the hotel a little cold, even though we were furnished with extra blankets etc.... More

We had an early flight from Malaga after ten days in Seville and Granada so tagged on a night at Villa Guadalupe. It was a good decision - the hotel is on a hill, relatively small and cosy with a restaurant overlooking the city and out to the Med. Our room was clean and quiet if a bit tired looking,... More
