This modern hotel is located opposite Malaga Market and close to the shopping and historic sites. Very convenient but still quiet. Large, clean comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Our experience was let down by the lumpy beds which had hollows down the centre. My partner did point this out to the gentleman at reception.

Comfortable, close to the historical center of Malaga, good breakfast. Near to several typical southern Spain restaurants. Easy parking, but a little bit too far from beach....you have to take a cab or public transport

First impressions are important and the lobby area needs a facelift. The room was not very big but certainly adequate. Servicing of the room was excellent and always felt fresh and airy when we returned from our travels. The staff were very helpful and efficient-pity about the lobby. The market is fantastic with several wonderful tapas bars as well as... More

All rooms where nice and tidy. 2 rooms faced the front and 1 to the back. Not a lot of storage in room. The carnival was on when we wer... More

Central location, easy walk from train station. Clean comfortable rooms and friendly obliging staff. Very smooth check in/out process. Breakfast wasn't the best I've ever had but perfectly sufficient. Can't fault.

We stayed at the Atarazanas Malaga for a week, after Christmas and over New Year. Upon arrival were asked if we wanted to upgrade our room for extra 10 Euros a night. In hindsight we really should have looked at the room we paid for but the room was a reasonable size for a city centre hotel, with a nice... More

Dear AussiecAlec, Thank you very much for choosing our hotel to spend your Christmas holiday. I'm glad you had such a nice time, despite being winter dates are always welcome, but this year as you rightly say: 18-23 degrees! I appreciate you recognize the good work of our housekeepers. On the contrary regret that have not been feeling well taken... More

This hotel is not what we would call boutique in the usual sense ...I am not sure why it was given that title really...it is however clean and tidy and all in working order ...it lacks tea and coffee facilities in the room although there is plenty of room for them and the coffee in the restaurant is NOT good... I am convinced that the word " Boutique " has been invented by the hotel trade to upscale mediocre 2 & 3 star hotels. Apart from its good location everything about this hotel is very, very average. We paid 148 euros for a 2 night stay in January and was told that breakfast was not included and was 20 euros... More

Hotel is located opposite the Central Market close to lots of bars and restaurants. Bedrooms are clean and comfortable if somewhat on the small side. Lift to all floors and on street parking only. Would recommend.
