We intended to stay for a week, but rebooked to another hotel after one night. Except for the location, which is quite central in the old town, this hotel offers no other qualities. The lobby area has a significant bad sewage kind of scent, the interior was weary, the lighting reminded us of the 70's and the breakfast is not... More

We had two rooms on the first floor, one at the front and one at the back. The front room was nice and airy whereas the other one was very dark and warm and with a malfunctioning air con. The lobby and the corridor smelled of sewage. Location though is perfect.

Itaca Malaga was ideal for our pre-Christmas visit. Perfectly positioned in the old town, a very short walk from Plaza Constitucion, the main shopping area and the rest of the old town. Not too far from the port and the newly-established Muelle Uno either. Our room was comfortable, bathroom very good with the added bonus of a spacious shower cubicle,... More

First when you come in to the hotel recepcion it smells like sewage. Second it looks like they forgot to put sound isolation in to the room, it feels like piepol pas thry our room every time they pass try corridor. We was here 4 nights and I will definitely not book this hotel next time.

Stayed for a 1 night. Restaurants and shops on your doorstep. 5 mins to Cathedral. Modern and spotlessly clean. Room had balcony which was nice but street noise may be a problem in summer. Note that there was a damp smell in the lobby, but I put that down to road and building work on the street outside. Great value... More

Hotel very well situated, beds comfortable but no drawers or wardrobes in rooms. That's ok for a couple of days but not good for a longer stay. Staff very friendly on reception and in breakfast room. Breakfast good but ran out of breakfast tea on last morning. Would recommend for short break.

I read some mixed reviews about this hotel but I have to say I was very impressed. It's just a 10 minute walk from the train station and marina and the city centre is on the doorstep! Like all Spanish hotels rooms can be a little noisy and being in the centre there is also street noise so I advise... More

The rooms are lovely - big, modern and clean, the staff are great - really, really friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is quite good as well with a fair amount of options. Location is great. On the downside the wifi is intermittent, the aircon seems to have a mind of its own and I don't think it has double... More

I stayed in this hotel in November, and had a pleasant stay. PROS: the location is great, within walking distance to everything you need, only a short 10 min walk to train station so easy access to other beaches and the airport. The staff are really friendly, happy to print off our boarding passes for us and direct us around.... More

Seen some mixed reviews recently. This was our second stay, the previous being 1 year ago. The hotel has been expanded since our last visit and we stayed in one of the new rooms. The room was bright and functional with a good bathroom, if just a little clinical. As others have said, the air conditioning was not very responsive.... More
