I climbed off my cruise ship and took a brisk walk across the port and in less then half an hour (remember I was dragging a 20 Kilo suitcase) I was at the Hotel Astoria. This boutique hotel is on the river (dry most of the year) on the edge of Malaga centre. It has a small lobby with a... More

My friend and I stayed in this hotel for three nights in November. Small, nice hotel, in a very central location, nearly on the main train station doorstep. Service was good, and rooms clean and big enough with comfy beds beds. Good rate for the three nights .The only thing we could barely cope with was lack of air in... More

Javier the manager, could not have been more helpful and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. A real gentleman and worth a visit just to meet him. Room was fine except that we. couldn't get the air con to work. Balcony with good vows of the city but still relatively quiet. Great location close to city... More

We have stayed here before as very convenient to underground station to airport and was perfectly acceptable. However on this occasion, it was warm and we turned on the air conditioning and only hot air came out so we had to sleep with windows open and it is noisy and still warm. It seems on querying that the hotel does... More

This is my second stay at this hotel the last stay being 6 years ago. The room we were given was a double room 201 but it was very small and dark. The bed was quite comfortable and the spa bath is a nice touch with plenty of hot water. This hotel is in a very good central location ideal... More

Clean rooms, good breakfast and very nice staff, very close to railway&buss station and the city center all available within just a few minutes walk. At the last day they granted us an extension of the check out which was very much appreciated

This hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Malaga and the surrounding area, as it is handy for the old town, the harbour and the bus and train stations. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Our bathroom was lovely - very good size and we had plenty of wardrobe space. However, we did find the bed a little... More

As this was our first trip to Malaga I wanted somewhere easily accessible from the airport and close enough to all the city's attractions. The Eurostars Astoria seemed to fit the bill, and we weren't disappointed. The hotel can be reached by train from the airport in less than 15 minutes, as the terminus of the railway line is just... The hotel is located in a great place, close to the various modes of transport and yet not noisy in the center of Malaga. From hotel you have only few minutes by walk to center of Malaga. Breakfast was outstanding I'll be back for sure !!

While rooms are small, all you need is actually there. Good bed, shower and free wifi. We only paid around 55 euro per night and for a city trip, when you only spend time in the room to sleep, it's with other words fantastic value for money. Next time in Malaga, I'll go there again. We did not have breakfast... More
