Convenient location, fairly courteous staff, clean rooms more

We liked our stay here, though we didn't spend much time in the hotel. It's in a great location, a few blocks from the nightlife, and about a 15 minute walk to the beach. Stayed here 5 nights between Jan 24-31, 2009. The hotel has been refurbished and the rooms are very nicely decorated. The bathrooms are brand new as well. Verry clean hotel. The rooms are small but got everyting it needs for an short stay. The receptionist is very unkind. If you are a diabetic do not go for this hotel, becouse they have no fridge to put your medication in. more

In november 2006 we stayed at the Carlos V for 3 nights. We chose this hotel for its central location. Indeed it is central, right in the middle of the historical centre of Malaga. On an eleven week trip in europe this was without doubt the worst. We were joining a tour so had no choice.
