Although the room was not too large it had a fantastic view of the square and was exceptionally clean with all the amenities within the room very welcome, especially the apples on the bedside tables. The hotel had been renovated but kept in the 1930's style with modern facilites. Breakfast was excellent and all staff we met were very helpful. more

We stayed at the Larios for 7 nights from 15th June 2009. We had visited Malaga previously and had heard good reports about the Larios. It was exactly as we expected. The location is perfect and although it can get a bit noisy at night on the street, the double glazed french doors were pretty much sound proof, so getting... more

My friend and I stayed here for one night at the end of a beach holiday because we'd heard Malaga was worth a visit so didn't want to waste the opportunity. We made the decision to do so on the spur of the moment so only booked our room a couple of days before arrival. We were very lucky, therefore,... more

We stayed here over Easter for 3 nights. The hotel is ideally situated along Malaga's main boulevard. Most of the rooms overlook this (as ours did, and we were able to witness a fabulous Easter parade on Easter Sunday) but be careful not to end up with a room at the back where I'd imagine there is little if any... more

My husband and I travel extensively (about six months our of the year) and we stayed at Roommate Larios based upon several recommendations. We were not disappointed. The room was very large--and so was the bathroom!!! I am usually not one to notice decorations--but I did notice Roommate--it was lovely. But more importantly, the beds were large and very comfortable.... more

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights at the back end of March 2009. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city although it can be a bit noisy in the early hours. The aircon wasn't on so we had to have the balcony doors open to stop the room becoming very hot but it... more

Overall, a pleasant stay. Staff were efficient and helpful but lacked the warmth and genuine concern or sincerity of small boutique hotels (eg questions, queries were promptly answered but there wasn't the above and beyond care that smaller hotels show). Hotel room was nice, large and sound proof despite overlooking busy Larios Street. But bedside lamps next to bed are... more

the hotel doesn't deserve 4* : 1. everybody can entry the building, since its reception is at the 1st floor. the moment you open the door, it smells like someone made pi there. it stinks 2. the room itself is very dark and doesn't have enough lights, you can't read books in the evening. 3. breaksfeast is poor for a... more

We booked this hotel four months in advance, yet when we arrived were allocated a room at the "inside" of the hotel. The room had a small window which faced onto an internal atrium like space. There was limited natural daylight and so it was horrible to stay in the room, even though it was nicely furnished. I asked twice... more

Arriving at the hotel the Front Desk person was very nice and knew english very well. She also enformed us that hotel had free tickets to see Picasso's museum, which was very nice and just down the street. This hotel is perfectly located on a beautiful shopping street with plenty of resturants and the main sights of Malaga only steps... more
