This is my second times staying here, and it is a top hotel, right in the heart of Malaga. Right beside all the best shops, bars and restaurants, and within 5 minutes walk of the Cathedral, Alcazaba, Picasso museum and the port, couldnt be any better situated. The room itself was a bit dated, but was really large with plenty... More

I visited this hotel alone in Jan but went back as a couple this September. We asked for a room on a high floor with a balcony and got a great room on the 8th floor. The service from the time you enter until you leave is first class, reception staff are friendly, but not gushing thank goodness, efficient and helpful.... The hotel really in the heart of Malaga. The hop-on hop-off bus station is next to the hotel. The main shopping street is on the other side of the hotel. So I may say, OK the hotel is realy old but the price/area value is the best. And also the room was old but was clean I stayed with my... More

Don Curro is in an excellent location, our 2 nights here were rewarded by the ease of walking to all the local sights & ammenities. The only criticism would be the congestion at breakfast due to ill thought out position of some drink and cooking facilities, resulting in delays. Particularly as we had a coach party staying here. Clean, tidy,... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Great location, right in the midst of the centre - bars/tapas/shops. Would give it a 4 just for location. Not too far off the marina either. Room clean. Breakfast not the best though, no fruit & didn't seem very fresh. You can hear everything from the rooms so if you're a light sleeper you might... More

Just got back from a 5 night stay at this hotel. Located right on the edge of the Old Town so isn't far from endless tapas bars and restaurants. The hotel is close to the port and a short walk to the Marina (more restaurants and shops) and also the beach. Was given a room on the 8th floor and... More

Good value hotel at a prime location. Near the beaches, the harbour, the city centre, shops and restaurants.the train is nearby and buses just at the door, including the airport express. Rooms spacious and clean. Breakfast basic and they were kind to provide me soya milk at no extra cost. The reason I only gave 3 stars is because of noise... More

Many have commented on the value and location of this hotel. We wouldn't have returned for a second time otherwise. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable hotel in an excellent location this is it.

The Don Curro is slap bang in the middle of the old town, surrounded by tapas bars, just about everything you want to see in Malaga is within walking distance. At Euros 59 per night with breakfast it was good value…my room was clean and quiet with satellite tv and decent bathroom. Only downsides were the variable wifi signal, and... More
