My girlfriend and I are just back from a week-long stay at the Malaga Centro and can't praise it enough. Pros... 1.Great air conditioning given the temperature outside. 2.Comfy, well-maintained rooms. Free mini-bar, re-stocked every day. 3.Convenient location for the old town and shopping. 4.Top-notch breakfast (good variety of menu). 5.Good pool and adequate fitness room (just a treadmill, 2... more

Just over the bridge from the old quarter, this is a very good value hotel in Malaga. Check in was prompt, courteous and efficient and we had a very good sized room (509) on the fifth floor. The room was traditionally decorated and had a huge bathroom with plenty of toiletries that were re-stocked as required. Room kept spotlessly clean.... more

Nice hotel. Reception area very large, open and stylish. Room felt a little cramped/small and dark but the bathroom made up for it (large and well lit). more

We stayed here for a few days in May as part of our city break. When we arrived the staff were very friendly and upgraded our room which was wonderful - we had seen pictures on the web site of what the rooms looked like and our room was exactly as they showed. Funky black and white design with red... more

Overall the Centro provides excellent accommodation, the rooms and public areas are very clean, and manage to combine classic style with a modern feel. The level of facilities is also high with free wi-fi etc throughout the hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly Location is just on the edge of the city centre, which can be reached in... more

Stayed only one night en-route back to UK. Excellent reception and check in very smooth. Room was great, clean, spacious with free soft drinks in minibar. Beds very comfortable, bathroom large with not only bath with overhead shower, but also a seperate shower cubicle as well - great as this meant we could both get ready in the morning. Breakfast... more

A combination of location and value made us settle on the Malaga Centro. First impression was excellent, swanky looking lobby, desk staff spoke excellent english and check-in took only 5... more

An Irish family group of 8 men (5 brothers, 1 brother-in-law and two life-long friends) stayed at the Malaga Centro Hotel and all were very pleased (and highly recommend) the experience. The hotel is excellent, spotless, well furnished with exceptional furnishings and a wonderful paintings collection all around the hotel. The rooms were spacious, very clean and well maintained. The... more

Just back from a 3 day trip to Malaga. This hotel must be one of the best I have ever stayed in.We stayed in another Salles hotel in Barcelona and this was the same quality. We were room only and went for breakfast on the last morning. This I'm afraid was the hotels downfall. Medium hot bacon and scrambled egg... more

Good hotel situated less than 10 mins walk to main hubub. Everything that i had read here previously was true. We too had to ask to change rooms as ours faced road (quite noisy) and very warm. No problem, they moved us to another floor on other side of building - a trouble free night ensued! Breakfast choice very good,... more
