Third time we have stayed at this hotel and was. It disappointed. Staff and welcome superb we arrive on Good Friday and was given a Lindt chocolate bunny very nice touch. Room excellent, facilities very good cannot fault. Breakfast was one of e best plenty of choice and even had gluten free bread for me. Ideally located for City centre... More

Stayed for two nights of a mini break with my chap. Those pesky early flights meant we got in super early. Room was ready. Very peaceful and a funky decor. Comfy bed. Like the fact that the toiletries in the bathroom included razor and shaving gel, toothpaste and tooth brush. Multi channel tv...The breakfasts include sausages eggs and bacon plus... More

We stayed one night in this hotel before flying home the next day. It coincided with the Holy Week processions which are a real spectacle in the city. The hotel is a short (10 minute) walk from the best viewing points but far enough away not to be troubled by noise. All aspects of the hotel were very good -... More

This place was a dump. Location is okay but it's outside of the old part of town, so you'll have to walk 15-20 mins to get to the old part, which isn't a bit deal. It's clearly in the newer part of town. Pros: close (next door) to a large shopping center with plenty of restaurants and a very large... More

Having stayed at other Melia group hotels, we were disappointed with TRYP Alameda due to the lack of bar area which one can spend time meeting and greeting family and friends! We were there 3 days together with friends from Ireland/Spain/UK to celebrate a milestone birthday, the weather was appalling so it wasn't convenient to walk any distance to find... More

Nothing outstanding but they have all of the basics just right, so what more do you need? Good location for shopping and the train station. A little further out form the Cathedral area and the Port but is an enjoyable walk away. Parking can be found in the shopping centre attached for a supplement. Although as I always suggest -... very average...clean etc. You get what you pay for and this in my opinion is a bargain. Typical big modern hotel. I do not knock it nor do I jump somersaults over it. It is just what it is!!! boring. Not all big hotels are like this however. View my recommendation in Seville!

Next to the train Station, and a few minutes away from the main shopping area of Malaga. Don't expect any luxury, is a funtional hotel, clean, well located, and with extraordirary staff! Nice breakfast, parking and free wifi. Again... The staff is SUPER nice and helpful!!! We will come back FOR SURE! :)

Málaga can possibly be the best hidden treasure in Europe for tourists. It has it all, plus a charisma and charm that no other place can live up to. Food, nightlife, shopping, gorgeous stylish people walking down Larios st.., and then a Picasso museum, a catedral, muslim remains, chiringuitos by the sea... The Tryp is not in the downtown área,... The hotel is walking distance from the main railway station, 15 min from the center. It is close to a huge parking lot which actually belongs to a shopping center. The locality is quiet, of no special interest. The entrance to the shopping center is on the other side of the huge building. Breakfast is OK. Rooms are reasonably big,... More
