We stayed at the Trypp Alameda in Malaga the night before our cruise. It was in an excellent positio. 5 minutes walk from Maria Zambrana railway station amd next door to a massive shopping complex.Ideal for getting to the port(10 minutes in taxi). very good breakfast and excellent value for money.Would stay here again..

We booked this hotel with lastminute.com and only went to Malaga as it was one of the few destinations from Southampton airport. Looked on 'net to look at hotel and it certainly didn't do it justice !! The outside isn't very impressive either, but once you walk through the swing doors you feel welcomed and given a map of the... More

650 meter away from Maria Zambrano central train station. Large room, good breakfast choice, very clean. The wall of 429 room needs new paint. The noise from street is inconvenient even though there are two windows with double glazes. Preferable by enthusiastic shoppers and business men. Tryp hoteles is of Melia Hotels chain.

We chose this hotel for location mainly as we needed to be within walking distance of malaga bus station...We stayed for one night only so feel we did not experience many of the facilities that the hotel has to offer...Exterior of hotel a bit dull looking upon arrival but what does his matter really? Reception friendly and checked in with... More

One superb feature about the TRYP hotels that perhaps set them apart from others, is their very generous late checkout facility. For just 20 Euros more, they will let you stay as late as 8pm on the day you're supposed to checkout. This is fantastic especially if you have a late flight out. Really feels like they put their customers... More

Have stayed here before and again we enjoyed our time spent here. Staff very polite and helpful. Good situation for walking into town. The building of the metro has disrupted the roads nearby but nothing too serious.

Beeing a part of Sol/Melia hotel chain rates are a bit on the expensive side. The Tryp city hotels differs in standard, and I found the Tryp Alameda in the top end. Located in the residential part of Malaga, a few mins. to the trainstation. A bit further for the busstation. A walk to the center will take you approx.... More

After researching the hotel I was certainly expecting more than it offers. The hotel is not in the greatest of areas, and actually has a back door to a large shopping mall. I felt the entrance/check in area was unwelcoming, and a little on the cold side. My upgraded room was similar to other 4 star hotel standard rooms, which... More

I stayed in this hotel few years ago for 2 months!! Yes, I was on extented business trip in Malaga for 8 weeks. The room was spacious, clean and very quiet. Breakfast buffet was delicious and huge. The staff was very friendly and made me feel at home away from home. Location is perfect: next to huge shopping complex and... More

The staff were really so friendly and really helpful. But this day and age a hotel that charges for WIFI is RIDICULOUS. And not having breakfast included in the room rate either was a bit disappointing. The location is really close to the bus/train station, but you have to walk through a dodgy part of town to get to the... More
