This was about the 10th time we have stayed at this Parador and altho we shall most certainly stay again I will only have superior rooms in the future. Altho we had a superior room the first night, as the Parador was full we had to be moved to a standard room the 2nd night. Altho nothing wrong with the... More

We spent 3 nights at the Parador de Malaga. The public areas of the hotel and the views are really beautiful. The room was spacious enough with a nice private terrace. But the room furniture was cheap and unattractive when it was new and that was long ago. It was hard to shower without getting water on the floor as... More

Had an amazing experience here. The service was amazing and the room had an awesome view of the city. The swimming pool has an even better view of the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to couples and family's staying in malaga.

What a magnificent setting! The hotel is placed on quite a high hill, overlooking the port and town areas. I must admit to being fooled by the maps which make it look as if the hotel is in the middle of a park. Moving from the hotel to the town has to be realistically done by car / taxi that... More

This was our first visit to Malaga, so we hadn't realised how difficult it would be to stay in this hotel without a car! On the map it looks central, but that is because maps are two dimensional. It was only a ten minute walk downhill, but much more challenging coming up the 300 foot climb after visiting the city... More

This is a very special place. Right in the centre but also in a slow pace above it all. Situated on top of the hill with the old maur castle. Gorgeous view. The new fancy harbourfront with restaurants just below. The same is the cathedral and the old beautiful bullfight arena. Walk down in 10 mins and take a taxi... More

Situated next to the castle high above the port of Malaga, this parador is beautifully situated with excellent views. The rooms are large, elegantly designed and very comfortable, certainly among the best we've experienced in Andalucia. It has great terraces for outdoor drinks and light meals. The rooftop pool could be redone to match the overall elegance of the parador.... More

This parador was located with a very nice view overlooking Málaga. The surroundings was beautiful with the forest and Gibralfaro. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern though the design varied a bit. The beds were very comfortable and out bathroom was huge. Breakfast was nice and offered a good selection of food and drinks that you could enjoy together... More

Parador De Malaga Gilbbrafaro was the second Parador that we stayed at on this trip and it was very nice. The service was good and the food at the restaurant was enjoyable. Juan was the food server and was very pleasant and took care of the customers. The rooms were large and they had a great view of the harbor.... More

Wonderful views, helpful staff, superb breakfasts, especially the jug of excellent coffee brought to the table by the efficient breakfast waiter, no need to struggle with a machine or drink its undistinguished product. We prefer to eat other meals down in the town, but for b & b it's unbeatable. If one of you is 55 or over, check out... More
