I was a little bit sceptic what to expect when I have booked Hotel IGH Malaga. I wanted a budget one, not far away from main attractions, from the sea, and with a good public transport connections. That is exactly what you get if you book this hotel. Firstly, very good, not expensive and simple connections from Malaga airport: the... More

The location was good, close to bus from Airport, to Plaza de Toros, Malaguetta beach and the new Port of Malaga. 10 minutes walking to Cathedral. Breakfast was served in a bar 3minutes walk away. WIFI only on the lobby. Good not expensive hotel for a short stay

We just spent three nights here, choosing it because it is close to the redeveloped port area, and it did the job. The room was a good size, it was clean and it was quiet. The beds were comfortable. Having said that, everything was very basic and more than a little tired. There is no dining room, so breakfast can... More

I'm surprised how many good reviews this place is getting! We booked based on price, and I guess you get what you pay for. On the bright side, the location is fantastic (10-15 mins walk to the city centre, 5 mins to the park, Malagueta beach and the castle and right across from the bull ring). And the view from... More

Stayed 7 nights at this hotel. Used as a base to visit other places (Gibraltar, Marbella. costal resorts etc). After arrival into Malaga Airport, just outside arrivals there is a small booth where you can buy a bus ticket for the A Bus Airport Express. Its 3 euro's per person. You can buy the ticket on the bus (which was... More

Myself and one other required a room in Malaga for one night only before catching a flight out of Spain. The booking was made on the morning of our stay and was chosen due to location and price. PROS: The hotel is in a good location, handy for the bull ring (views from the rooms!), the port and the historic... More

This hotel is close to the beach and has good access to public transport, including the airport bus. I booked a single room but got a double which was a bonus. The room was clean and had a fridge which was great for keeping drinks (bought from a nearby supermarket) chilled. The air conditioning was efficient but a bit noisy.... More

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel, the room was very clean and the location was perfect. The hotel staff was very helpful, made sure we had a taxi at 430 in the morning and also printed boarding passes for me. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed here for a long weekend with some girl friends. The hotel suited our needs completely. It is in a very central location with lovely views of the bull ring and the sea. It is very basic but that is reflected in the price and I would have no hesitation recommending it to anyone, or staying there again. The... More
