Everything about the hotel was as I'd have wanted and more room, location with Bars and Restaurants on top of your own private beach and with the Sun guaranteed there's not much I can say other than being a small hotel you need to book early and as I've said you won't be disappointed . TOP NOTCH.

This little hotel was the perfect spot for a short beach stay. The rooms are bright and clean, the bar and restaurant area is stylish and chic, and the beach front setting is just gorgeous. The whole seaside promenade is full of nice restaurants and bars, and if you want to go into Malaga town itself it's only a short... More

My trip was a short one-nighter with my daughter, and I found that La Chancla had everything we needed for an easy, safe, reliable experience. We were in "Junio" which was on the street side rather than beach side - at first I was mildly disappointed not to be on the beach side, but since we had to get up... More

Had room 21 with skylight and use of Jacuzzi - superb. The staff at this hotel work so hard , I dont know how they do it what with the heat , had a few meals here which were very good, lots of people watching from the terrace and walks up and down the prom. We only stayed 3 days... More

I've never been to Spain before so this was a totally new experience. I had no idea what to expect or any idea of the type of area we, in Malaga, we had booked. As soon as we arrived I felt pretty stupid not knowing any Spanish as it felt like we were in a pretty local area, which I... More

Great little hotel about two miles out of the centre of Malaga. Room was very nice.....overlooking the sea. Bathroom was a bit on the small size but fine. Breakfast was top class and what a place to sit and eat it.....you really could not ask for anything better. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants and most of them cook... More

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in June. The hotel is really nicely situated on the seafront. Our room looked out over the ocean. Very friendly staff and the food in the restaurant is really good. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends (and you lot).

If this hotel were located in the center of an old city you might expect it to be on a street too narrow for automobile access. As a beachfront hotel I was quite surprised when I arrived in a rented car and was unable to find anyplace to park. Further (no pun intended), even if I were able to find... More

Went there with my brother while touring around the south of Spain and it was the dearest and worst (by far) Hotel we stayed in. Some of the things were just so bad they were almost comical. The service was scandalous: its a hotel that is also a bar, which means that the people that work at the reception often... More

We booked here as it is very convenient for the Cervantes language school (which I can also highly recommend). It's in Pedregalejo which is a 10 minute, e1.60 bus journey into Malaga centre (buses running very 10 mins from very nearby) La Chancla is situated right along the beachfront along the promenade of bars and restaurants. It is a small... More
