So we lucked out and got the junior suite. It was spacious, quieter at night than the rooms on the floor below and had private access to the hot tub later in the evening. It's air conditioned and has the ability to black out the light. One thing that was a little annoying was the fact that the wonderful rain... More

Just finished a perfect weekend at this hotel. The staff was friendly like Rafael at the front desk and at the restaurant our daily waiter Ricardo. Room was perfect being the junior suite. Big bathroom and big king size bed. The beach in front is small but perfect for relaxing. This hotel is the only one with balinese beds to... More

Checked in and only a rear room was available but the next morning they were kind enough to move us to a small family unit a few doors down and it was very nice with walk out the front door beach access. The hotel was very nice and clean but we wanted a view of the beach, The restaurant at... More

Located in Pedregalejo a lovely area outskirts of Malaga, very lively with lots of cocktail bars and restaurants. Right in front of the beach, the front rooms have a great view. Small, clean and confortable room with a decent bathroom (shower). The hotel was refurbished so it has now a modern look and the bar is popular among locals attracted... More

Just spent five nights in La Chancla in a room on the top floor and the shower is big enough for two. The roof terrace with hot tub is great with a fantastic view of the sea. During the night I only heard the sea. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Most only speak Spanish so watch out for... More

A very small hotel on the outskirts of Malaga. Rooms small, but very clean. Front rooms have a great view of the sea and beach. Although these rooms are over the bar, I was not disturbed as any noise is drowned out by the sound of the sea lapping on the sand. The bar downstairs is very popular and I... More

practical, clean and well located apartment, right on the beach and promenade (no need to cross any street to get to the beach). Fairly basic, but clean. Small bedroom with modern safe. Bathroom with one of the smallest showers I ever saw, toilet & bidet, overall very nice. Living room with good HD TV, it's small, but thanks to HD... More

Charming small hotel right on the beach just a short bus ride or 45 minute walk from central malaga. The locality is mainly Spanish people as there are few tourist hotels but there is a good choice of cafes and bars although english is not widely spoken. The hotel has a popular bar downstairs serving decent food all day and... More

Looks great after refurb. This was our second time. 2 years ago we stayed in the hotel it was great. This year we were in the apartments and no complaints. Very popular with Spanish and don't expect many English speakers but that's all the fun. Had a meal there one night curry was cold they reheated it and it was... More

Just back from La Chancia and it looks great after its refit. Its so good that we actually walked past it. We were there two years ago and it was bright yellow and blue but its glass now. We were in apartments which had everything you needed and a great view. See you again I hope.
