This cute little hostel was great for us, right in the city centre, good wifi, very clean and comfortable, with a lovely roof terrace. The kitchen only has a microwave but that was fine for us for a few nights. The market is nearby and has great cheap products, nicer than a supermarket. Only 15 mins walk to beach. Friendly... More

Small budget hotel with small rooms in the very centre of Malaga, with self-service coffee and tea on the corridor (if you leave early and nothing is open in the city, it simple saves your life), but the very best thing is the owner lady, who is so helpful that I have never experienced during my many travels. She literally... More

The location of Hostal La Palma is excellent. We, a couple in our early 60s, explored Malaga on foot as everything is within easy reach of the hostal. Our room was very clean and our bed comfortable. We were delighted (as English people) to be able to access a kettle, so we could make tea every morning. On our floor... More

The hostal is in the veri heart of Malaga. It is close to everthing. The room was small but clean. It has a small balcony with street view. But especially on saturaday night it was a little bit noisy. Hostal has a small roof terrace and also a kitchen which is quite nice if you are looking for a low... More

I stayed at this hostal with friends in October. It was perfect for our trip, lovely hostal, clean rooms and excellent location. We arrived late at night (a little difficult to locate reception on the 1st floor in the dark) but we were greeted by the lovely owner/manager who was very friendly and gave us a tour of the building... Would have liked to rate this hostal a little higher considering the ideal location, the room and the (cheap and cheerful) cost. The lady who runs the place was also helpful and her Spanish was easy to understand though I believe she can also speak a reasonable level of English. The room was very spacious with a flat screen TV... More

The owner was the nicest person I have ever met. Everything was provided, iron, hairdryer, fridge, coffee, tea and the best thing was the rooftop terrace with chill area!I our room we had a shower but some rooms had to use shared bathroom. It's literally in the centre, 10 min walk to malagueta the beach in malaga city.Transportation is very close either... More

Hostal La Palma is a great place from which to view the heart of historical Malaga. The lady who runs the hostal is a warm, friendly and interesting character. The hostal is clean and comfortable and perfect for a short stay in the beautiful city of Malaga. Tidy little rooms are complimented by a fully fitted kitchen and a fabulous... More

Great location, beautiful room, exquisite woman owning and operating... Everything extremely organised, mountains of fliers and brochures for all kinds of attractions, not just the obvious tourist traps. The owner spends a good 15 minutes guiding you through the rooms, even gives you a mini map on a business card with the number of her cell phone which she wears... More
