I arrived in Malaga for the feria and beach and I honestly have to say that the Melting Pot was a great place to stay, right on the beach and cheap and clean unlike the other more central hostels in Malaga. Also, the Welsh girl working there was really NICE!!! But the Eastern European guy working there really a bit... More

Had a really great time at Melting Pot. I felt right at home from the beginning as all the staff are really friendly and always willing to help. For me the location couldn't get any better, it's just across the road from the beach! Good public transport links to the city centre and there was a pub crawl every night... More

I honestly came to Malaga to oh to the beach. I chose the melting pot for it's location and pictures on hostel world. It does not look like the pictures! It was disgusting!!! Ants on the floor in my room. The bathroom smelled like mold and had mold everywhere not to mention a dirty full mop bucket in the corner.... More

The location of the establishment is perfect being that it is right across the street from the beach. The rooms are very comfortable, and the sheets smelled clean; which is a huge thing for me. The only downfall I really couldn't get over, was the dirtiness of the bathroom. It smells upon entry, and I would highly recommend wearing flip... More

Of all the hostels I've visited, this is one of the best for sure. The staff tries to make all guests feel great, the owner (who is French by the way) cooks dinner every night for the guests (there is a small contribution though but it's much less then the average dinner price in Malaga) and the beach is (literally)... Place was great, really close to the beach, view is amazing, staff is nice (the boss is French) and prices are pretty cheap but it's really noisy because of the traffic. If you have some trouble usually to sleep, don't go to this place. Otherwise, everything was good.

We were 5-9.12.2014 there. That was just the friendly trip. The hostel is close the the beach, beautiful view from our room. 15 minutes for a walk to the centrum. The staff very very nice and friendly. Rooms are every day cleaning and every day the breakfast is included. I hope I come back there in the future... Thanks for... More

The service was very good. The receptionist gave me all the information I needed, he even gave me new lock of the locker. They have all the stuff you need to go to the beach, so you don't need to worry. Location is also good, it is in front of the beach, that's why I came here. But it's not... More

Stayed here with a friend to get away for a few days. Had a warm welcome when we arrived. Staff is most friendly and helpful, and the hostel is very nice and clean. Had a nice walk to the city every day by the boulevard and the hostel is perfectly located to go to the beach. There is a supermarket... More
