If you ever get a chance to go to Southern Spain, stay at Club Bena Vista. I rated the cleanliness a 4 only because there were dead bugs still in the bathroom and bedroom. I rated the rooms a 4 because the single bedroom had twin beds (that were very hard) and for a married couple that wasn't the best.... more

Nice apartments but matresses were hard and difficult to sleep on. There were 2 pools and one could be heated but when I asked to get it heated I was told it was only heated during winter. There were no activities on site and no facilities other than pool or bowls (which you had to pay for). This resort would... more

First time visiting this resort on exchange. Very efficient checkin by Anna at the desk who spoke very good English. We were given the keys that were colour coded with a piece a of paper with the coding on it. Very good for first time users such as us. Had a little difficulty finding the unit as it was not... more

We have just returned from Bena Vista, where we had booked a 2 bed apartment. When we checked into the resort the reception staff took great honor in advising us that we would be staying in house! When we opened the door to the apartment it truely was a house! Over 2 floors, 3 bathrooms, huge sitting room, kitchen and... more

Just back from a holiday at Club Bena Vista. We were delighted with our apartment - Acuario 13a. A complimentary bottle of wine was a welcome touch. A two bedroom apartment with private garden that was extremely comfortable and well equipped both in and out. It was very clean. Ours had two bedrooms (one en suite); lounge and v small... more

Club Bena Vista Lovely, spotlessly clean apartment. Large balcony with adjustable chairs with covers that got the morning sun and a sheltered pool where one could lounge in the afternoons. Plenty of hot water. BBC and ITV programmes on the TV. We phoned and asked what time the reception closed and were told that it would be open until 11pm..We... more

Clean, comfortable, quiet place that is a great home base for seeing Andalucia. Within a two-hour drive of Granada, Seville, and Gibraltar. Across the highway from the beach (which you access by a footbridge), but it was too early in the season for us. All the windows had iron bars, which made me curious about potential crime issues, but the... more

My friend and I stayed for 2 weeks in March 2007. The resort is nice but the location is right on a main highway and our suite was next to it. The highway noise was very intrusive - luckily, there were fans in the closet that we used for 'white noise'. Also, the mattresses were fairly awful. I had to... more

We arrived on the 4th November 2006 for 7 nights; It was unfortunate that we chose the wettest week since 1989, with more rainfall in 2 days than the previous 6 months! Objectively the 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment on the ground floor with its own private walled garden, patio, and BBQ was large and well appointed making a... more

just been here in early oct 06 found the complex very clean tidy and well manicured, however our stay was marred by the noisy A7 motorway that runs past the complex our apartment backed onto this road as did many of the caf'e/resteurants so sitting outside in the evening was not as pleasurable as it should have been. staff were... more
