Marriotts Playa Anduluza hits the high and consistent standards one comes to expect from a Marriott. The Guest service, however, was far above expectations. Our concierge recommended a family owned restuarant for us, had the menus personalized for our anniversary (the menus are created daily accordingly to what is available in the marketplace)....then we had car trouble on the way... more

We stayed for 5 nights in July in a two bed apartment. I must say the standard of the apartment was lovely. Everything was very new and the beds were extremely comfortable, great showers, excellent kitchen facilities even with a Nespresso coffee machine. A car is essential and the surrounding area is not the best so I'd suggest a short... more

We own a couple of weeks with the Marriott Vacation Club and managed to trade one of our weeks from our ‘home’ resort in Aruba to here. We have been visiting Marriott Resorts for four years now and have never been disappointed by the level of comfort or service that is provided. Playa Andaluza is no exception. Other reviewers are... more

My husband and I returned last week from Marriott's Playa Andaluza. We were there from July 13-19. The resort is very nice with large spacious apartments. We had a two bedroom-two bath that was very nice. The restaurant is open (has been open for over a month) and the food is good although pricey. A hamburger with fries is 14.90... more

Property was still under construction and garage parking was unavailable. The swimming pool and the beach were available to use, but the restaurant hadn't opened. It is necessary to drive to find restaurants or stores. The units offer a lot of privacy and all have view balconies. There is little true Spanish flavor on the Costa del Sol; fish 'n... more

We stayed in a 2 bed apartment from 6-10 May as part of a preview deal with Marriott. We had to go to a preview presentation as part of the deal but there was no pressure to buy. The Marriott Vacation Club is not for us at the present time but we can see the benefits as the quality is... more

This was such a huge disappointment for my family and I becouse on paper this resort has an awful lot of positives. The staff and quality of accommodation were most acceptable but why on earth did Marriott not tell us about the substantial build works and lack of restuarant until 10 days before we left UK? We are not talking of... more

My family and I (2 adults, 2 kids ages 14 and 10) spent the first 3 nights of our Spanish vacation at this property. Fistly, I believe a car is a must to get around in Estapona and Marbella. As mentioned by other reviewers, the entrance to the hotel is off the eastbound lane of a highway. The property itself... more

Stayed at the resort for a week in April. Very nice resort, superb apartments, very spacious and yet still cosy. Surroundings were clean and very well kept, pools very pleasant. Am an owner in the US and have been to a few resorts there, this is the nicest resort I have stayed at so far. Staff friendly and helpful. Only... more
