We visited Marriott Playa Andaluza as part of a 'cheapie' preview package organised by American Airlines. It is a lovely resort with excellent facilities and beautifully furnished and luxurious apartments. My only criticism would be that the outdoor pool was closed for the winter even though the temperature was about 20 degrees. There is a nice indoor pool but the... more

We traded to go this Marriott through Interval - we've stayed at many of the MVC resorts and are used to their high level of standards. We have also stayed at the Marbella vacation club - and of the two this is the nicer resort. The beach area and amenities are nicer here than in Marbella. Our biggest complaint with... more

This Vacation Club has everything you could wish for. Its only fault is its a bit isolated. you need a car.which is no use if you want to have a meal and a couple of glasse's of wine outside the resort. Marriott should provide a shuttle bus . more

My husband and I just returned from a week at Marriott's Playa Andalusia. The resort is beautiful and the rooms are fabulous. Being there in the end of January, we were there "out of season." There were no crowds and the weather was perfect (high 60s and low 70s). We were able to lay by the pool many days, as... more

We just stayed for a week at this resort through a timeshare swap. We brought our seven month old and were stressed about the stay so far away from home, but the accomodations were excellent. The three-bedroom condo was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. The service was wonderful and we... more

We usually go skiing at this time of year but thought we would go to Marriott Playa Andaluza instead and perhaps go skiing early next year. We didn't expect to have a great time but just wanted a peaceful break before xmas. What a lovely place ! Greatly surprised, the whole resort is fantastic - spotlessly clean, great and helpful... more

Marriotts Playa Anduluza hits the high and consistent standards one comes to expect from a Marriott. The Guest service, however, was far above expectations. Our concierge recommended a family owned restuarant for us, had the menus personalized for our anniversary (the menus are created daily accordingly to what is available in the marketplace)....then we had car trouble on the way... more
