I stayed here for three nights in mid-April with my partner. We were on a Delta Airlines-sponsored presentation package that cost us €300 in total for the accommodation and also included basic car rental for the three days – fantastic value. The extremely unattractive location of this (and most) hotels and resorts between Malaga and Sotogrande has been already noted... more

We have just returned from an excellent stay at the Marriot Andaluza and had a great time. The hotel is part of the Marriot vacation club so all rooms are ethier 2 or 3 bedrooms. I do think they have a few lockout units but I have read from other tripadvisors that they are very small. We stayed in the... more

We stayed at this resort in August 2007. I will base my review as a comparison between this resort and the Marriott Marbella complex as we stayed in both in 2007 and think this comparison may be benificial for travellers when deciding which resort to stay in. LOCATION - Marbella is better. Car is essential at this resort and even... more

We visited this beautiful resort on the Mediterranean Sea during "off season" and got a wonderful rate through Interval International. Our unit was spacious, clean, and well laid out for two couples. The appliances, kitchen, and baths were high-end and we definitely enjoyed our terrace overlooking the pool area, palm trees and the Mediterranean. There are two outdoor pools (too... more

We visited Marriott Playa Andaluza as part of a 'cheapie' preview package organised by American Airlines. It is a lovely resort with excellent facilities and beautifully furnished and luxurious apartments. My only criticism would be that the outdoor pool was closed for the winter even though the temperature was about 20 degrees. There is a nice indoor pool but the... more

We traded to go this Marriott through Interval - we've stayed at many of the MVC resorts and are used to their high level of standards. We have also stayed at the Marbella vacation club - and of the two this is the nicer resort. The beach area and amenities are nicer here than in Marbella. Our biggest complaint with... more

This Vacation Club has everything you could wish for. Its only fault is its a bit isolated. you need a car.which is no use if you want to have a meal and a couple of glasse's of wine outside the resort. Marriott should provide a shuttle bus . more

My husband and I just returned from a week at Marriott's Playa Andalusia. The resort is beautiful and the rooms are fabulous. Being there in the end of January, we were there "out of season." There were no crowds and the weather was perfect (high 60s and low 70s). We were able to lay by the pool many days, as... more

I travelled out to the playa andaluza as a preview package with the marriott hotels, like someone else mentioned above. i know the marriott hotels, so i was expecting a very high standard from the resort, but it exceeded my expectation! everything, from the service to the location, to the facilities was top of the range! i travelled with my... more
