We had a great time here. It was nearby to the beach, easy to find and access from the main road, the rooms were excellent quality and the staff were very friendly. It was excellent value and extremely clean. Highly recommended!

We have stayed in MacDonald resorts before in the UK so anticipated a high standard of accommodation. We were not disappointed. The resort is designed in a 'village' layout with ground floor apartments and first floor maisonette units. We had a 2 bed first floor unit which was spotless, recently refurbished to a very high standard with lovely bed linen... More

Stayed at this resort at the half term (week after most other schools) We were in the north part of the resort. We had a 2 bed apartment which was lovely and big. We are a large family (prop forward shaped 2 boys and dad, and 5ft 10 mum) and there was lots of room for us. The pool in... More

While the ground-floor garden is a lovely touch, the 1-bedroom apartment, though well-equipped, was tiny, with the kitchen literally jammed into an alcove between the living room and bedroom. The pull-out sofa bed took up all of the living area, although it states on the website that this is a murphy bed - it isn't. It's not really acceptable that... More

We decided to travel to the resort by public transport from Malaga Airport. On paper it should have been straightforward. Unfortunately the name of the bus stop was not recognised by bus company staff, either in the booking office at Marbella, or the driver. As a result, we overshot, and had to walk back, which was not easy due to... More

If you like the sun, good quality accommodation, beautiful flora and a relaxing venue then this is the place for you. The buildings are in the style of pueblo blanco and have all mod cons. The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. Ideally placed for quick trips to Estepona, Marbella and Puerto Banos.

This was my first time to Villacana and I wasn't sure what to expect, I don't usually go to resorts. I was very pleasantly surprised though, our apartment was very clean and had everyone we needed for a comfortable week. Outside the resort is bedecked in beautiful flowers and gardens, the bouganvilla in particular were spectacular. If you can manage... More

My sister was not able to book into her CLC resort, so they offered her a place for the four of us to stay at VillaCana, in Cancelada, Estepona. We booked our holiday for the first week of October, as it would be quieter and not quite so hot as summer. We booked car hire for our week to enable... More

Beautifully kept grounds just as pictures show. Great to be able to choose resort restaurants or walk across road where there are many others. The only downside is that rooms are quite dark, though this would not put me off going again. We loved it
