Two couples rented an apartment on the front second floor with an ornate balcony overlooking a busy pedestrian street. Smack in the busy centre of town with lots of bars and restaurants within a short walk. Beautiful exterior with open galleried interior. Our room was fine. Clean and comfortable but fairly basic. Two bedrooms one with twin beds and the... More

Beautiful and charming old palace. Looks wonderful from outside, also the inner courtyard and corridors were stylish, but unfortunately the apartment was quite worn down. Simple furnitures, beds quite ok, but it was not very tidy and the choice of the interior design and materials were not according to the style, the beautiful old palace would have earned. NB! There... More

Very clean apartment, well located within the centre and easy to get around on foot. Not so easy to drive! Apartment was dark as the other reviews say, but just go outside and enjoy the sun & sights!!! Exactly what we needed for a nice budget stay.

A beautiful building but a poor renovation and an apartment that smelt of stale oil! This apartment was disappointing because the location was good (El Puetro is interesting and close enough to Cadiz as a base) but the interior was tired, frayed and drab (not in a charming way). The kitchen could have been better equipt for a place in this... Well, Casa Palacio de Los Leones is very nice from outside, also hall is perfect, it's centrally situated, but when you enter the room you have feeling to be somewhere in outskirt in block of flats. Our apartment had windows just to patio so it was very very dark and it was not possible to open windows without letting all... More

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. Location is very good. Staff members are extremely helpful. Secure parking is available nearby for 12euro a night. Apartment was a little dated and basic but very good value. Solarium on the roof is a very feature. Windows are facing the courtyard. One night we had a company of teenage group on... More

Really pretty character building and the staff were very helpful. Rooms were a good size and very clean. We were given a free voucher for a glass of sherry in the bar next door which was a nice touch. Only downsides were that the furnishings in the room were a bit dated and its pretty difficult to find if you're... More

I think my review will be similar to most other guests, praising this unusual hotel. It is certainly a very nice hotel to stay and explore the city and the area. We booked two-bedroom apartment and the one we got was facing the street, with the main balcony overlooking the square. We were not disturbed by the street noise and... More

We stayed in this Hotel in December and were thoroughly impressed by its charm (it is a reconstructed 17th century mansion) amenities, size of the rooms (bedroom, large modern bathroom, kitchen area, living room, terraza) and access to a large rooftop terrace. Regretfully, it was too cold for us to take advantage of the terrazas. But the heaters in the... More

The hotel facade, lobby and stairways are beautiful and unique. The location is in the middel of the charming town El Puerto de Santa Maria but difficult to find, especially if you arrive by car as the narrow streets are mostly oneway and La Placilla is only for pedestrians. We ended up hiring a taxi to show us the way.... More
