We stayed in Suite Osborne, speechless! It is quite a large suite, with pool, Jacuzzi and private sauna. We have had a very, very good! However, the pool and jacuzzi are switched off at 10 pm and reconnected at 11 am. So, enjoying them in terms of timing is very limited, especially if the stay is for a night, as... More

Wonderful restoration right in the middle of town. The staff was very helpful and nice. My room was a little small but it more than served its purpose. I never ate at the hotel because there are some wonderful restaurants nearby. If you plan on going to the beach I would use a car. It's probably a mile and a... More

Very nice hotel in a restored palace. Friendly staff. Very good and nice presented breakfast. The room Juan de la Cosa was more than a room. Separate bedroom with a huge bed, separate toilet, separate bathroom with a fantastic shower. Wired internet for free.Double windows to keep the noise out. The hotel staff helped me to get a parking space... More

The hotel and our room was superb. We had the Cristobel Colon room and it is huge. Beautifully decorated: great combination of modern and rustic. Room smelt of smoke when we arrived but we lit candles and opened windows. We had breakfast and it was fantastic. The two ladies we met during our stay were very helpful and pleasant. I... More

This is a good hotel to use as a base for touring or for visiting one of the town's Bodegas. It is centrally located and only a two minute walk from Calle Luna and Calle Misericordia where there is a good selection of bars and restaurants. Bodega Osborne is nearby and worth a visit. The hotel is also within walking... More

Really wonderful hotel in El Puerto. Old building which is well maintained and with spacious rooms and lovely public areas. Great breakfast service. Our friends managed to bag a suite with a pool in it - ours was equally lovely but lacked the bathing option! A short walk from great bars and restaurants but the hotel is quiet at night.... More

If you are overnighting in El Puerto de Santa Maria, then we can recommend the Palacio San Bartolome. The hotel has been carefully renovated and our room, the Cristobal Colon, was a delight. We were there in February 2012 and the temperature at night sank below zero, which is a bit unusual. However, the heating in the room more than... More

* I've stayed in 21 different hotels within one year and in over 300 in my life, but this one really impressed me. * Old palace, restored with care, every tiny detail in style. Spacious room, high ceiling (6 meter?), "princess bed" with curtains, top quality of linen and towels. * Very good bed (even for sleeping), extra blankets and... More

Stayed here with my husband in September 2011 and was really impressed with the overall experience. The staff were very welcoming and warm, our bedroom was spacious and beautifully designed with its four poster bed, super high ceilings and beautiful original detailing as well as modern features such as flat screen TV and fully stocked minibar. The bathroom was very... More

In a pleasant but unremarkable town, this hotel is cool, stylish and peaceful. Everything has been thought of for the guests' comfort. Well located for exploring the town on foot. Very pleasant and professional staff. If one minor negative were to be demanded, it would centre on breakfast which was not good value nor of a quality reflecting that of... More
