For those not wanting to drive around and park up in Cadiz (its very expensive), this is the place to stay, from our photos you will see just how close the Hotel is to the ferry terminal to catch the Catamaran to Cadiz and it's cheap. This is not 5 star luxury Hotel but a comfortable 3 star one, yes... More

Well located hotel with helpful staff, we used the hotels underground parking lot, it is tight to turn into, but I had a bigger problem getting out due to the tight bend on the ramp, I drive a medium size SUV. In fairness I could have parked in the public car park opposite the hotel, it was my choice to... More

We chose this hotel as being half way between Jerez for the sherry and Caiz for a history tour via a boat trip across the bay. The catamaran station was just across the road from the hotel and we had a lovely balconied room overlooking it and the sea inlet. It was delightful! We were able to park right outside... More

I agree with other reviews, the reception could be a bit more welcoming. Loved the white old building & took beautiful pictures of the city from the roof. We only stayed 1 night & found everything satisfactory. Santa Maria has the best sea food, hand down in all of Andalucia.

The hotel was very good value for money, the staff were pleasant, though the waiter in charge at breakfast was a bit like a Gestapo soldier, but was also well mannered and efficient. Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn't effective, so we had to open the window for fresh air, but that also let traffic noise in. The room was clean... More

Rude and dogmatist reception staff charged extra for mediocre breakfast that was included in booking, although the booking confirmation was shown to the receptionist. The hotel also charged credit card twice, giving a loss because of different exchange rates. Rooms facing the river are noisy at night beacuse of traffic and idling buses. Room itself was fine and the roof... More

The location is great for ferries to Cádiz and the room itself was nice and the bathroom even better. Fine roof terrace. Rooms facing the river should be avoided because of much noise from traffic. Our room was hot but we had to keep the window closed beacuse of late night traffic and idling buses on the other side of... More

We booked 3 nights with rooms only. The first morning we booked breakfast as it was easier than going out trying to find somewhere. Lovely croissants, which you could heat up with sliced cheese and ham, toast, fruit, cereals and good bean to cup coffee. The hot food didnt look very appetising so we gave that a miss. This is... This hotel is ideal if you are planning on exploring the area - we were there on the week of the Feria del Caballo in Jerez, and the hotel is a short walk from the train station and a 10 min ride to Jerez - ideal. Visiting Cadiz is also a doddle, with the ferry just outside the door. The... More
