excellent place for a relaxed holiday. The beach is fantastic, the hotel is quiet, away from the traffic and a fantastic location. No promenade, but directly into the dunes and beach for long easy walks. the spa is too expensive (25 Euro); a car is needed; prices in the hotel for wine, etc. are very reasonable. entertainment is low key,... more

The hotel is in an area of Spain where tourism is less developed. That suits us fine but don't expect to find plenty of gourmet restaurants or bars on every streetcorner. The area is generally a little budget oriented, and La Barrosa Palace is one of very few five star hotels. It is inside a resort with several hotels -... more

Very nice hotel, nice new & upscale area & surroundings, great food, staff is professional and polite. Very nice swimming pool area, lovely beach 2 min away walking. Breakfast was superb, did not try diner. You should definetly try local restaurants since you can find great seafood at good prices (i.e.: "El Manguita" in Chiclana). Rooms were nice, not amazingly... more
