I'll admit that I'm a Marriott snob but I've stayed at an Iberostar in the Dominican Republic and was pleased. Considering that hotel chains usually maintain a reputation worldwide, I thought this would be similar, if not better. However, this was not nearly similar to DR. The room was disgustingly dirty, the beds were horrible and the A/C didn't work... more

We were passing this hotel and we needed a room as it was late so we checked in. I think most people here were staying in an all inclusive basis and it was packed. To buy anything for cash became very expensive, including 10 euros deposit for towels, 5 euro per night for the safe, basically anything had a supplementary... more

This has to be one of the best hotels i have ever stayed at. Everything here was top class. I think it should be more 5 star than 4 star. The staff were excellent, the rooms were beautiful, the food on the all inclusive option was some of the best I have ever eaten the facilities were everything you need... more

Have just returned from two weeks at the Royal Andalus, (August 22-September 5), once again the Costa De La Luz was all that we could have wanted, e.g lovely spanish family resort,, weather glorious, beach fantastic all coupled with a lovely hotel, the exterior does not do it justice , the interior design of the hotel is something to behold... more

The hotel is set on the beach front where the beach stretch for miles in both directions, just miles of lovely clean sand. The sea was surprisingly warm. The hotel is very well cared for its quite new and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Their seemed to be plenty of staff who were willing to serve you. Our room was good... more

Having searched with Trip Adviser and reading reports on many hotels on the site we decided to go with the Iberostar Royal Andalus Hotel and we certainly have no regrets at all. The room booked was the room we got and a terrific room it was facing the sea on the ground floor BUT still very quiet, sun for most... more

Booked this as a late deal.Never been to this part of Spain before but very impressed. Lovely long beaches. Great hotel with great staff. The only downside if you could call it is that it is a quiet area but that suited us just fine. Want a quiet break-book it. If you want great nitelife-dont. more

A family friendly hotel, but not many British people there in May (maybe that's a good thing!) The All-Inclusive option IS great - proper meals and generous drinks (not watered down!). Many Spanish stay here, so this is a good sign I think. Also many Germans too. The Iberostar chain is dependable with good facilities and entertainment in their own... more

i went in July with my family (4 adults, 1 teen, 2 children). we travelled from the airport on a couch with thomas cook and as soon as we arrived to the hotel we got a warm welcome with champagne. we ate in the restaurant every night, which was set out like a buffet and the food was superb, we... more

We had no great expectations when we arrived at this hotel, we had booked it for its proximity to the Nova Sancti Petri Golf complex. The hotel is difficult to find with confusing signeage in the locality. It is big and impersonal, but situated on a wonderful long sandy beach, and they run a shuttle service to and from the... more
