Gem of a hotel in the heart of old town Cadiz. Lovely decor, wonderful ambience, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. Rooms and bathrooms were very spacious. 24h parking available 5min walk away at Canalejas

The hotel Argantonio is situated in Cadiz Old town and is ideal for site seeing on foot. Whilst the hotel has no car parking you can drive up to the hotel and then park underground 750 meters away. 25 euro per 24hrs. The ferry services are about 1500 meters away from the hotel, you can take the cat to Santa... More

We stayed in the suite on the top floor. It was a really nice room with a big bathroom and a living room area with a sofa. It also had its own terrace. Hotel also does a nice buffet breakfast. It's very central to the town, but if you're going for the beaches then it's not so close to them.... More

This is a charming hotel located in a side street near to the station, the main shopping centre and a host of excellent restaurants. The beach is a 20 minute walk away and the Cathedral about 10 minutes. The Staff are nigh on perfect...friendly, proactively helpful and thoroughly professional, Breakfast in the very cute breakfast room/reception area is a treat.... More

Very centrally located hotel with charming interiors and very friendly staff (who gave us a few very good recommendations for visiting and dining). The room was very clean. The breakfast was great, which is not usual in Spain. The only slight inconvenience is that the bathroom wasn't properly separated from the room: there was a door that could be closed,... More

Like so many other reviews, we found this hotel to be perfectly situated for a visit to Cadiz. It may only have 2 stars but it had everything we wanted - en-suite with drench shower, good sized room, fridge, safe, lift, good breakfast (Spanish style), very friendly and helpful staff. It is quite small with about 12 rooms. The only... More

Hotel Argantonio is tucked away just off the main shopping area and within walking distance to all the sights, and the train station. Our room, on the 3rd floor facing the street was small; we had to rearrange some of the furniture to make room for our carry on suitcases. The room and bathroom were very clean. Staff were all... Want some real Spanish ambience then you know when you enter this small, but beautifully run hotel that you have found the right place. What's not to like: it's perfectly place in a quiet street in the old town. Our room was more than adequate in size as was the bathroom, with a god size shower. Beds are comfortable and... More

A very comfortable tourist hotel in the old centre. Great breakfast and coffee provided by excellent staff. Enjoyed 4 nights at this hotel in old Cadiz. Good air conditioning and comfortable beds. Liked the shower which was a good size for my 6'5" frame.

We stayed at the Argantonio for two nights on our recent visit to Spain and drove down from Seville. The hotel is located in the old part of Cadiz and the first thing you learn is the streets are very narrow! Not a problem if you are careful, but actually finding the place was a slight challenge initially. We parked... More
