From the moment you walk into reception it's clear the hotel is in bad need of refurbishment. Given the high prices (you can get a 5* hotel for a similar cost in Seville and Jeriz) you should consider other options in the city. Pros: Near the beach Will lend you beach towels for a deposit of 10 euro Big rooms... More

This hotel is in a noisy location, two blocks from the beach. I stayed here on business after a recommendation from a friend. Location really is central for business but its noisy and not a very attractive area. Restaurant is below average and staff really are not pleasant or helpful There are a lot of hotels in the city and... More

I stayed here for 1 night this past weekend. The room was a fairly good size although I did think that it could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly. I asked for an iron and it arrived to the room quickly. There were some toiletries available which were also handy. The location was good and just a short 10... More

This is our first night, we decided to eat in the hotel and I have to say it has to be some of the worst food I have eaten any where, I can't believe whoever prepared the food could call themselves a chef, a six year old could do better, I hope that breakfast will be an improvement! The wi... More

Stayed for one night, awaiting ferry to Lanzarote. The location is good, and the secure parking very useful, you take your car in a lift to the basement, ours was full of stuff we were taking over. The hotel is a bit noisy, being on the main road, but it's good location, being walking distance to the old town ameliorates... More

Hotel superior room nice and beds comfortable. Bathroom very nice. Flooring bit tatty. Although kettle cups and saucers provided during a 2 night stay only 2 tea bags provided on first day. No milk or coffee.

This is a good place to stay if your top priority is the beach, otherwise it is too far from the historic centre. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. There's not a hint of Andalusian charm anywhere in the building, instead it is 'uber modern'. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You may borrow a beach towel... More

Staff is friendly and helpful, hotel room was nice and clean with a very big shower. Location is good, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Breakfast diversity is amazing, there is even a chocolate fountain :)

Just 250 meters from marvellous Victora Beach and about 1.5 km from the Old Town. Comfortable rooms but there was no blanket in ours. No problem though - just ask at the reception (we did so at 4 am and got one immediately). Small and slow elevators. Cadiz is quite expensive a city in terms of hotels and so is... More

Staying at Barcelo Cadiz was a safe bet for us, because Barcelo has a certain standard, chain hotels come handy in unfamiliar places. This is just a city hotel, with nothing special. It does provide good sized, clean comfortable rooms at a reasonable price, and that was just what we were after. The hotel is not very near the old... More
