We arrived at the Senator Cadiz with some trepidation, as there had been a spate of poor reviews (see April and May 2015), but it was perfectly OK. The reception staff were helpful, the room quite large (although facing onto the inner courtyard), and the rooftop pool is a BIG bonus. The decor is a bit faded, but everywhere was... More

the hotel was indeed central and initially appeared charming, however, parking in the garage is essential and they charge 18 euros per day. We travelled on motorbikes and two could fit in one bay. We argued that it should be 18 euros for the two but they insisted we pay 18 euros each bike but still park two in a... More

The hotel is clearly Spanish with extensive tile work, courtyards, and comfortable rooms. The staff are very attentive and helpful. It is located just off the main street along the Playa. Interesting garage with entry from an alley into an elevator which lowers the car to the garage. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

We stayed in this lovely hotel which was about a ten/twelve minute walk from the train and bus stations. The hotel is near the port of Cadiz about two blocks from the water. My wife and I really like this style of hotel. Big and Airy with a large lobby and lots of area to relax with a glass of... More

Although difficult to locate initially- our Tom Tom took through a pedestrian area, this hotel was very convenient and central to everything we needed. We left the car in the car park for the 3 days we were there. The car park was an interesting experience for us. It was located down a very narrow street behind the hotel, accessed... More

Our one night stay was just perfect. Our purpose was to meet family docking in Cadiz for the day on a cruise; just a 2 minute walk away. The hotel is in the heart of the lovely old town and within easy walking distance of local transport. Our room was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The hotel staff were cheerful... More

Lovely hotel in a great location. We asked for a quite room, as a city location can be noisy at night. We were given a inside room looking into a central atrium it was a bit dark but very quiet so would do that options again. The hotels best bit for me was the food top pool and sun lounge... More

During my first trip to South Spain after being all over the World I was pleasantly surprised by excellent combination of luxury and coziness I experienced in Senator Cadiz Spa Hotel. Key location, very friendly staff. Great place to relax or do business, or both. Definitely recommend it.

We hadn't booked in advance and needed room for one night. Charged 99 euros for biggish room with large en-suite bathroom. Forgot to ask for non-smoking so room smelt of smoke. I thought bed comfortable, husband didn't. Didn't have breakfast as 12 euros extra and buffet didn't look worth it. Parked in their underground car park but tricky even for... More

We are nice to hear your opinion about the size of the room you had in your stay in Senator Cádiz and we deeply regret the smell of smoke, this is a non-smoking Hotel.
