I had 2 nights there recently. Firstly the good: * Very friendly staff on reception * Pool and function area is beautiful. and now the bad.... * Location is incorrectly mapped in Google maps. Actually not terribly convenient to anything. * Bedroom was dark and dusty. * Bathroom was falling apart. No soap in the shower. * Breakfast was appalling!... More

We had our wedding at the monasterio this weekend - incredible! I can't fault it and would recommend it as the best wedding venue in the area. So tranquil, relaxing and beautiful. The team are very helpful and their recommended caterers served the best wedding dinner I've ever had. Lee the dj was spot on and I'd also recommend ezequiel... More

Lovely hide-away for people who like authenticity, charm, and the country-side. This is a small monastery with lovely rooms and beautiful natural setting, excellent for exclusive (small) weddings or a weekend get-away. We were attending a small family-wedding, and every single guest was charmed by the location and service. The food at the restaurant was delicious, the overall experience unforgettable.

I had the pleasure of staying here for a fitness week. The hotel is amazing, all of the staff were amazing especially David and the amazing receptionists. Sorry, I forget their names. The pool is the best hotel pool I've seen in a long time. The hotel is so comfortable and the service excellent. I'd easily go again. Ideal place... More

I attended a wedding reception at this location and it was great. What a picturesque location. I didn't stay over so cannot comment on the rooms but as a wedding location it was perfect. Really intimate, classy and interesting. When the sun goes down it is really quite stunning.

We actually held our wedding reception at this hotel and what a magical day it was! Such a beautiful setting and such a special hotel with loads of charm and extremely well maintained! Shame it doesn't open all year round or I would definately be going over more often!

Stayed here for a weekend, some people might not the location as it takes some finding but worth it when you get there. I think it had just opened when we arrived so the bar was poorly stocked but the advatage to that was they have an excellent house wine both red and white. Some slight building works about the... We spent a weekend at the Hotel Monasterio de San Martin. What a great little secret, set among the beautiful Cadiz countryside. What tasteful furnishings with attention to all matter of details a real gem, a real monastry with peace and tranquility included. The restaurant has a great menu and exquisite plates. Well worth the visit.
