A traveller's worst nightmare might be losing their wallet on the day of their arrival, as happened with my partner. The staff were excellent. We arrived at the hotel not long before midnight, and they were understanding and sympathetic, finding telephone numbers and giving helpful advice. Not only that, but due to our woeful use of the language we had... More

Let's start positively - brilliant location for train station - 10 minute walk & easy to locate. However, you could be invisible for the engagement you have with the staff - the girls on reception were so rude - they left you standing there when waiting to speak to them. Reception area is very sad and unloved looking as is... More

This hotel is well situated and quaint in an old fashioned manner. Parking (20€ per day) can be arranged and we took advantage of that. We had booked a discounted price for early booking, our room was internal, no windows, but adequate. The bathroom was functional, good hot shower, but no bidet. However, we were only left two towels (hand... More

We enjoyed our stay here in the old city for a number of reasons. Depending what you are looking for your stay here can be great or just average. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to most areas and sites, such as Train/bus station, Torre Tavira, Cadiz Cathedral, flower and flea market and Columela Street shopping area. And... More

There is absolutely nothing special about this hotel. After staying in 12 different hotels (3-4 star) during our one month tour of Andalucía I can safely say that this hotel was the worse value of all of them. Don't be deceived by the professional photographs like I was. The lobby is a dreary affair and looked like somebody's garage sale.... More

Excellent location. In the middle of the old city. The downside is the parking. You need to reserve it beforehand. We did not knew it since the online reservation site did not mentioned it. We took the hotel breakfast, but was not worth it. Get out and have breakfast in a typical Spanish bar. Try toasts (in french bread) with... More

The hotel is in the centre of the Historic Cadiz. Most of the rooms do not have a window so if you are claustraphobic this will not suit. The rooms all have names not numbers ours was Diego Munez Torreno. The room was clean well decorated adequte furniture and nice furnishings but not overlarge. The bathroom had both bath and... More

This was a great hotel. It was quiet, very well maintained, centrally located, good value, and very nice room with comfortable bed and amenities such as mini-fridge, free wi-fi, and spacious bathroom. We were impressed with the historical building and attractive decor for the price. It was a 10 minute stroll to the train station and close to all the... More

The room was very poor, with no windows, neither in the room, nor in the bathroom. The staff does what needs to be done, nothing more. Despite the ancient building, there is no atmosphere at all. The best thing of the hotel is its location, in the heart of the town.

Walking distance from the station. We changed from a quiet internal room to one overlooking the busy street with a Juliette balcony which was noisier but entertaining. The roof terrace is fabulous but hardly used - we had a chilled white wine up there thanks to the friendly barman. The staff were helpful, rooms were clean, and the hotel very... More
