We stayed for one night at this property. Rode the public bus from the train station; from the bus stop, it was about a 7 minute walk with all of our luggage. Hotel is on a corner of two well-traveled narrow roads, but by no means were they super busy streets with fast traffic. As other reviewers have said, this... More

This was a great find in the centre of the historic city with parking next door at an affordable price. Location could not be better, rooms clean and comfortable and the hostel has attractive lounges and free coffee and tea in the afternoon. Staff is friendly and helpful, but not very knowledgable regarding the city. Would gladly stay here again.

Not every receptionist at this hostel speaks English, but the ones we dealt with were helpful and nice. Location is convenient, although near a very loud road and with some pub noise on the night we stayed too (and a lot of it!). Definitely a cockroach issue as we had one bug in the bathroom and the staff explained there's... More

I didn’t think that this hotel was very good value for money. It is right by a main road and about 30 minutes walk from the old town that you will inevitably have to walk to. From the outside the hotel didn’t look like it had seen a lick of paint since the seventies, and it is not much better... More

This was great for the price! It has an "hostal" price but the quality is very good. We got a couples room, good size, with a nice bathroom. There were towels on the bed with little candies, everything well presented. The room and bathroom were very clean. We didn't know they had breakfast, so we didn't have any, but the... More

We stayed 2 nights, first night were kept awake by the next room 'doing things'. We spoke to the reception and were moved to a much better room, on the road side, but we slept very well. The breakfast, paid separately was very good, well worth it.. As the disruption was not the hotels fault, I am basing this review... More

I can't forget my stay at this hotel; it was really a very different experience. I was suffering from terrible backache and fever when I reached this place. I wish I could have gone back to home, but it was an official tour so I need to complete it. But, from the moment I completed the check in formalities to... More

We liked the staffs in this hotel. They were friendly and it seemed that they care for their guests. The hotel was affordable. The room was clean. There is a bus stop just accross the street where one can take a direct bus to the main train station. The old town is 15 minutes walk from the hotel which is... More

The Hotel Azahara is a good value budget hotel located above an office in a semi-residential district across the river from the Mezquita and old Cordoba. It is a pleasant 15-20 minute walk from the hotel to the old town, so it may be too far if you are staying longer, but fine for 2 or 3 days of sightseeing.... More
