Compare to other hotels in this localization, Pension El Portillo is very cheap place. 5 min to Mezquita by foot. Hotel is really cosy, nicely decorated, crew is always very helpful. Room was quite small, but enough. Neighboorhood is quiet and peaceful. What's more, door is always closed, you have to call the bell and then the crew opens them,... More

A family run pension, offering room only. Located in the old town and therefore ideal for visiting the Mezquita and exploring the maze of narrow streets. Rooms were basic but spotless and cleaned daily. We took the C3 bus from the station, which dropped us in San Fernando – with Pension El Portillo just around the corner. If you are... More

We stayed in this B&B for two days, while visiting Córdoba for work. For basic accommodation, it is really great value for money. It is perfectly located, right in the centre of town, which makes it perfect for exploring the Mezquita, and all other nearby attractions. The rooms are very quiet and warm -- we visited in winter, so it... More

We stayed here two nights at the end of October. We were extremely lucky while trying to find the B&B. We landed in one of their parking spaces on C/ San Fernando -- so parking was free. I'm not sure it's possible to drive up the little alcove the hotel is on. It was very quiet and we had no... More

We stayed in this B&B for 2 days. It really was a super location for visiting the Mezquita and all the old town area including the Jewish Quarter and in fact for visiting any of the sites Cordoba had to offer. Parking was free and they have two allocated spaces at the end of the street, about 50 meters which... More

Stayed in room 5 at the front of the hotel in this charming little Hostal close to the centre and on the edge of the old town. Close to bus stop with Busses to the train or bus station about every 10 minutes (bus no. 3) The room was small, very clean, the beds wew a bit creaky, but OK.... More

What a delightful place. It is the owners' home: the rooms all above the main floor. Their living room/dining room is downstairs in a courtyard; but, you never hear a sound. This couple is relaxed and friendly, very helpful; you feel like they're your neighbors. Easy to get everywhere from their pension especially the beautiful old neighborhood and all the... More

This was a very homey family run pension with nice tile work in the entrance room - it was a charming and simple place - the room, though small and basic, was reasonably priced and very clean - it was very quiet and within easy walking distance of all sites in the lovely town. We enjoyed the artwork which, as mentioned... More

Location was great. We took a bus from the train station and it stopped right in front of the lane heading to the pension. We arrived early but the host was kind to let us store the bags so we can start our tour without the heavy bags. Love the clean room, the comfiest room in the 2 weeks that... More

I was so happy that I had chosen to stay here when I traveled to Cordoba. My room and the building itself could not have been any homier. The owners are very friendly and provide a very reasonable, very clean, very cozy place to stay. I loved my little balcony! I found the location to be ideal, being close to... More
