Very pleasant one night stay in Cordoba, very good location (100m from mezquita and other main attractions) and the staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and we had a quiet sleep. Internet in each room. Overall very good, would recommend it.

If you're in a car, it can be difficult finding Hotel Gonzalez. The main reason is because it's on a pedestrian only street, but also if you happen to be east of the Mezquita/Roman Bridge then you'll have to leave the city center and go all the way around again to get close to the hotel. We enjoyed Cordoba because of our stay at the Hotel Gonzalez. It is within walking distance of sights in old town Cordoba. If you want quiet nights, ask for a room in the back, but we enjoyed watching the square from our room.

Great location, but getting there by car impossible. Park car in garage outside walls (hotel at end of avenue Conde de vallano a good bet) and hike in with essentials in backpack. These are not streets for roller luggage. Simple rooms, but clean. Nice courtyard.
