Small hotel, well positioned for the places we wanted to visit. Welcoming and helpful staff, clean room, bathroom was fine, storage was fine. We ate in the courtyard (associated with, but not part of the hotel) and were quite content. I'd happily have stayed another night,

The location was perfect. The room was adequate but small. The hotel was clean and the staff was attentive and polite. They served a somewhat skimpy continental breakfast. Overall, the hotel was a good value. The room had good A/C

Quaint hotel - GREAT location! Restaurant below par - okay for coffee or drinks, We ordered an unrecognizable gazpacho. Had to send it back. Such a basic recipe - I don't know how they managed to ruin it completely! Loved the city and this hotel was close enough to walk everywhere. Attentive staff.

Positive: location (central), inexpensive, helpful staff Negative: fried food smell coming up from the courtyard, poor furnishings in room (nothing "Baroque" as implied by descriptions, nothing like website) Overall: I thought we had come to the wrong hotel (there is a sister hotel called The Mezquita) as it didn't resemble some of the reviews below! Our room requested was actually... More

We didn't dare try to drive to this hotel, as the streets are so narrow and many impassable in a car. Beautifully located for the major attractions, all reachable easily on foot. Simple straightforward hotel, with central courtyard where you eat. Rooms comfortable with air conditioning, slightly small bed, good bathroom, limited extras (eg no in-room coffee/tea etc). But it... More

The hotel is in one of the narrow. cobbled roads in the Jewish Quarter. My small room was at the end of twisting corridor. The usual barred windows looked out onto the well of the building. Good sized bathroom with water heated by a small boiler. OK for a shower, but certainly not big enough to heat water for the... More

One of the main factors in our choice of hotel was location, and we weren't disappointed. In fact, we were thrilled. The Gonzalez is a few minutes walk from the Alcazar, the Mezquita, and the synagogue. Things that looked a bit away on the map were still close....such as the Archeology Musuem, worth a visit. Our room was spacious and... More

What a lovely place! I was there for three days and had an awesome experience. Staring from warm welcome at the reception to sweet smile at the time of leaving, everything was wonderful. Rooms were very pretty, all decorated with amazing furnishings and things of comfort. Staff was very helping and polite all the time. They were always ready to... More

Very pleasant one night stay in Cordoba, very good location (100m from mezquita and other main attractions) and the staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and we had a quiet sleep. Internet in each room. Overall very good, would recommend it.

The hotel is pretty centrally located on a mostly only pedestrian street. Out the door to the right, you can reach the synagogue. To the left out the door, you can reach the Alcazar de Cordoba, and behind the hotel you can reach the Mezquita and the Roman Bridge. The decor is a bit like a museum with an old... More
