The location is great! And that's about it. The bathroom would require some cleaning - who knows what stuff was smeared on the walls. Backed up drain in shower. NO HOT WATER! And although I was there during a holiday, and crowds and late night parties were expected, my room was looking onto the little square in front of the... More

The hotel is exceptionally located. We walked to the main attractions, restaurants and bars. The patio is a good retreat in the evenings or mornings for breakfast. Our room was very clean, had free wifi and the bathroom was very comfortable.

Nice hotel. Cheap and cheerful. Staff on reception were very helpful. We left our bag at their sister hotel just round the corner whilst we explored on our last day. The only thing that would have made it better would have been tea/coffee making facilities as you couldn't have a hot drink until you got up and out although Gaudi's... More

We had Room 21 overlooking the street and courtyard. The doors blocked out virtually all the sound. It was fun to be able to hear the music but also get a good night's sleep. Enjoyed being in the middle of the action for one night. The room was larger than expected and very nice. A/C was great. Staff couldn't have... More

Small hotel, well positioned for the places we wanted to visit. Welcoming and helpful staff, clean room, bathroom was fine, storage was fine. We ate in the courtyard (associated with, but not part of the hotel) and were quite content. I'd happily have stayed another night,

The location was perfect. The room was adequate but small. The hotel was clean and the staff was attentive and polite. They served a somewhat skimpy continental breakfast. Overall, the hotel was a good value. The room had good A/C

Quaint hotel - GREAT location! Restaurant below par - okay for coffee or drinks, We ordered an unrecognizable gazpacho. Had to send it back. Such a basic recipe - I don't know how they managed to ruin it completely! Loved the city and this hotel was close enough to walk everywhere. Attentive staff.

Positive: location (central), inexpensive, helpful staff Negative: fried food smell coming up from the courtyard, poor furnishings in room (nothing "Baroque" as implied by descriptions, nothing like website) Overall: I thought we had come to the wrong hotel (there is a sister hotel called The Mezquita) as it didn't resemble some of the reviews below! Our room requested was actually... More

We didn't dare try to drive to this hotel, as the streets are so narrow and many impassable in a car. Beautifully located for the major attractions, all reachable easily on foot. Simple straightforward hotel, with central courtyard where you eat. Rooms comfortable with air conditioning, slightly small bed, good bathroom, limited extras (eg no in-room coffee/tea etc). But it... More

The hotel is in one of the narrow. cobbled roads in the Jewish Quarter. My small room was at the end of twisting corridor. The usual barred windows looked out onto the well of the building. Good sized bathroom with water heated by a small boiler. OK for a shower, but certainly not big enough to heat water for the... More
