The location is excellent. The room and bathroom are average. The patio is under construction and there is no kitchen now. They give you a card that you use at the restaurant across from it and then add the cost ( 3.5 Euros ) to your bill. You can sit outside at the restaruant. They got me confused on the... more

The hotel is centrally located to everything. The room was clean but average, nothing special, but not bad. The staff was average, not overly friendly, but not mean. We only stayed here one night and it was pleasant. It is only a few blocks to the water front and the central part of town which was very handy. more

Loved the central location and the patio. Single rooms are simple, small and clean and a great rate. WiFi. Very helpful hotel staff. A great value. more

Stayed here for 2 nights, and it is a great spot, very funky and close to everything. We rented 2 rooms, as there were 2 teenagers, and they put us in rooms so that we could see their room. Is a bit hard to get to as it is in the old part of the city, and so we ended... more

Just a one night stay as we were passing through Cordoba. If was off season so the hotel was very quiet. The rooms were spartan but clean and more than adequate for a one night stay. Has a lovely inter court yard that in the summer time would have been a terrific retreat. It was a very good value for... more

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel Gonzalez. It is situated in the nice, atmospheric Juderia part of the city, a few dozens meters away from the Mezquita. The hotel is in a typical andalusian house with central patio. We had a nice, big room facing the patio itself thus it was very quiet. In busier touristic periods, the... more

Gonzalez offers spacious rooms overlooking a patio + more than adequate bathroom. Good beds. Ask for a room that does NOT overlook the crowded street below, and you will have no trouble with noise. Breakfast across the street is adequate to better, depending on yr tastes. Helpful staff, though not all speak English Gonzalez is minutes away from the Mezquita... more

Good value base very well located in the centre of Cordoba, only a few twisting alley’s away from the Mesquita. The hotel is very Andalusian in style, with a courtyard, white washed walls and the gratuitous use of religious iconography. Its rooms are comfortable, clean and incredibly spacious and the guy on reception is as friendly as anything. Best of... more

We stayed in Hotel Gonzalez for one night in September 2008. We booked the day before, on the phone, got a twin room for 66 euros + 7% VAT, breakfast not included. The lady at the reception desk gave us detailed instructions so we could get to the hotel's door by car. This is not an easy task, the streets... more
