This hotel came well recommended but was a real disappointment. The rooms were very small and cramped. The only storage space was a small closet with a few hangers (no drawers and not enough hangers). The beds seemed cot-sized. The shower curtain was too small and the bathroom flooded every time we took a shower. You had to walk through... more

The services was great, outdoor courtyard is very elegant, location couldn't be better. Both our room and our friends' room were very musty and it was hard to keep the windows open to air out the rooms because they opened out onto the courtyard so then you didn't have privacy at night. The bathrooms were sufficient but smelled a little... more

First off, the rooms in this place are nothing special. They reminded me of a convent... very spartan! There was a small tv (no English channels, if that matters to anyone) and two twin beds with hard mattresses. The AC worked well and the room was large enough for our bags. It did have a very large bathroom and tub,... more

The location is excellent. The room and bathroom are average. The patio is under construction and there is no kitchen now. They give you a card that you use at the restaurant across from it and then add the cost ( 3.5 Euros ) to your bill. You can sit outside at the restaruant. They got me confused on the... more

The hotel is centrally located to everything. The room was clean but average, nothing special, but not bad. The staff was average, not overly friendly, but not mean. We only stayed here one night and it was pleasant. It is only a few blocks to the water front and the central part of town which was very handy. more

Loved the central location and the patio. Single rooms are simple, small and clean and a great rate. WiFi. Very helpful hotel staff. A great value. more

Stayed here for 2 nights, and it is a great spot, very funky and close to everything. We rented 2 rooms, as there were 2 teenagers, and they put us in rooms so that we could see their room. Is a bit hard to get to as it is in the old part of the city, and so we ended... more

Just a one night stay as we were passing through Cordoba. If was off season so the hotel was very quiet. The rooms were spartan but clean and more than adequate for a one night stay. Has a lovely inter court yard that in the summer time would have been a terrific retreat. It was a very good value for... more

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel Gonzalez. It is situated in the nice, atmospheric Juderia part of the city, a few dozens meters away from the Mezquita. The hotel is in a typical andalusian house with central patio. We had a nice, big room facing the patio itself thus it was very quiet. In busier touristic periods, the... more

Gonzalez offers spacious rooms overlooking a patio + more than adequate bathroom. Good beds. Ask for a room that does NOT overlook the crowded street below, and you will have no trouble with noise. Breakfast across the street is adequate to better, depending on yr tastes. Helpful staff, though not all speak English Gonzalez is minutes away from the Mezquita... more
