Hostal Lineros is very well located within old Cordoba, a few steps away from all the main historical sites; the Mesquita, the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, the Roman Bridge, etc. To reach it by car when arriving in Cordoba for the first time is quite a challenge, though. Use a detailed city map, not a GPS, for the latter... More

Basic room with a few attempted personal touches. Couldn't fault staff, they were friendly, accessible and helpful. We booked our room the day before and it was super cheap, relatively close to the Cathedral. Main criticism would be that the aircon unit blew straight on to the bed so I'd suggest asking for a room that doesn't have that as... More

We enjoyed our stay in this exotic hotel. It felt like we were in Marrakesh!.The location was very central for the Cathedral and restaurants. Unfortunately, there is no obvious car parking in the area. We parked in a neighbourhood away from the centre but still 10mins from hotel. Other than parking issues, and some ongoing building / DIY above or adjacent... More

Pro: Close to the center, we had a nice "fake" garden" all for us Cons: Fake kind staff; wifi not working; dirty rooms, the glass for washing teeth were not washed and dirty of blood, one bed was not ready; the room was an attic very hot and with low ceiling, i could see that many people hit the head;... We were pleasantly surprised the moment we stepped foot on this property. This hostel has a Mudejar & Andalusi flavour to its architecture and design. Our room was slightly small but the relaxed ambience of the room more than made up for the lack of space. The bathroom was clean and the bed was free of bed bugs. This hostel... More

We stayed in this place for one night. We decided to take the suite room. With king size bed, idromassage, big 40' plasma tv, bottle of wine to welcome. How was??? Well... Te suite, is not a traditional suite, it's only a big room. The bed was king size very confortable. Idromassage was ok but not so cleaned. No wine,... More

If anyone reading this is ever considering Cordoba then I cannot recommend this Hostal enough. Every picture that you view does the Hostal justice. It was full of character, friendly (although a little Spanish is required - but not all the time) clean, affordable and as close to the sights of Cordoba, especially the Mezqutia Cathedral and the historic 'Old... Last summer I spent with my boyfriend 2 nights in this hostal and it was terrible because of bad bugs. Hostal is beautiful, near center, but we were bitten, we could not sleep hole night and next night we was wearing in 30 degrees to have not open skin for bugs. We ask for some compensation, but stuff was made... More

This is a belated review but I loved my few days at Hostal Lineros earlier this year. Convenient location, easy to find, nice and bright and clean with lots of character in the architecture and the furnishings. Very friendly staff. Only extra thing I could've asked for would've been good tips for dinner that were easier to find than the... More

This is a central hotel in a traditional style. It is set around a variety of courtyards with sitting areas and offers free hot drinks that are refreshing in the siesta. The staff are helpful and charming. Our room, a family room with ensuite, had a four-poster double bed in arab style as well as bunks that were comfortable for... More
