Catch the number 3 bus from main bus station to Archo del Portillo on San Fernando for about 1.2 Euro. The bus stop is about 50 meters down the street from the hostel. A convenient spot and staff are very helpful and speak pretty good English. The rooms are clean, bed is comfortable. Happy to recommend as good value.

I had a single room which was tiny but the courtyard was beautiful and the hotels location was perfect. I could walk to all the historical sites and just down the San Fernando were a lot of tapas bars. Breakfast (cafe and croissant) cost a little under 3 euros. It also didn't feel like a hostal, it's more like like... More

Ideal location near old town and sights. Apartment was clean and functional with a lovely patio area. Whilst spacious, the kitchenette layout was poor and the table was too small to use effectively. However that was outweighed by the location and as we spent most of our time outdoors this was perfectly priced for what we needed.

We stayed one night in an apartment here. The location is great, central and easy walking distance to the main attractions of Cordoba, but the room was really depressing - dark, dingy and old-fashioned, and the walls were really thin, so we kept being woken up with noises including running water, voices and moving furniture. The hairdryer was the worst... More

Had an enjoyable stay here with friends in October. The room was fine, and at £25 per night for single ensuite accommodation, great value for money, and it was very clean and comfortable. There is a charming plant-filled courtyard lounge and you can order drinks to be served there (service not always available, but you can get a glass of... More

Just to reiterate what others have said. This is a lovely little hotel. Rooms are small but fine for one night. Very clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and gave loads of help. We could not belueve the quality of this hitel and others in this area tor the price. The only problem is getting there by... More

Stayed at the apartment on the third floor across the road from the hostal. Attractive and clean, with a large balcony and good cooking facilities. Secure and quiet, with helpful and friendly staff at the hostal. No wifi but able to access it in the hostal courtyard. A steep stairway to the apartment and no lift. The bus stop from... More

Good all round value for money. Friendly helpful staff, clean rooms . Within walking distance of all main attractions and several buses including the tour bus stop 50m from hotel. Although breakfast not included it was available from restaurant at nominal cost. Restaurant not open at other times but staff willing to get drinks at most other times.

Very good value for your money - I was there in the middle of the high season, excellent price and walking distance to all the major sights. The place is an old Moorish-style house, beautifully decorated - see the photos, it looks even better in reality... I was thrilled, the room I had was very lovely, super clean. Would come... More
