We always stay here when in Cordoba. 3 types of accommodation - hostal, hotel and apartments. We've stayed in all of them, apartments are best and very cheap. Right in the centre, friendly staff and best of all they have a garage for parking if you arrange it in advance! Will be back again next month.

The hostel is like a rabbit warren, certainly not for anyone who doesn't like climbing stairs. Interesting wall tiles in the public areas. Rooms barely adequate, in our bathroom you could only use the toilet with your knees up against the facing wall. Rated as one star which is fair. Good location made up for the poor nature of the... We had a lovely 2 day stay at an apartment connected with the Maestra hostal which at €50 (off season) represented great value. It had a kitchenette, dining and lounge area, master bedroom, bathroom and two additional single beds off the lounge area. The hostal itself has a lovely courtyard garden and felt light and spacious other guests told us... More

Stayed here 14th to 17th sept 2014.lovely hotel, clean and comfortable bed.air conditioning, hair dryer and a few toiletries provided. Staff were most helpful and polite.close to all bars and mesquita, river etc. Would not pay for a more expensive hotel. This was wonderful for the money and we will return

Excellent hotel with Cordobian character. Be aware that Maestre has two locations, and Hostal Maestre is at Calle Romero Barros, 16 - few meters farther. With the same character, it's cheaper option. Very good location within walking distance to Mezquita and Juderia; good breakfast included in unbeatable price. If you have a car, they provide garage space which is very... More

The hotel is conveniently located with the Mezquita and the Alcazar within 10-15 mins walking distance. Rooms are clean with strong wifi and cool aircon (on 3th floor). However, the service is disappointing. Check-in was slow - the lady at the check-in desk asked me to leave my passport with them for registration and only gave it back to me... More

This is the last hotel on our road trip, I was looking for a hotel in the old town, but needed secure parking as the car was full of stuff, this hotel is perfectly positioned for exploring the town as it is only 500mtrs from La Mezquita, and all the bars, the hotel is only a 1* so not the... More

The owners have three places -- a hotel, a hostal, and some apartments. This review is for the hostal. My room had only one tiny window with metal bars over it, opening onto to the interior courtyard. I got up at 7:00 am to go outside and found that the exterior door to the courtyard, and hence the only possible... More

First thing to say is the hotel is in a great location, very central. But we were in an apartment in a separate building with high ceiling and therefore quite cold because the main building was occupied by a french tour group of schoolchildren, with whom we had to fight over the breakfast buffet in the morning and a place... What a find this is. No complaints, whole hotel spotlessly clean, good shower and fine breakfast with great location near the old part of town. Car parking facility excellent. For those driving, very easy to find if you are not put off by no entry signs which are not relevant to those going to a hotel. Will certainly use again... More
