The Maestre was five stars for us in Cordoba but with a small price tag. Everything about the Maestre was more than I expected, the parking garage was clean and accessible, the front desk every so accomodating, the hotel was spotlessly clean. Our rooms ended up being an apartment with a kitchen, living room and, yes, count them - four... More

We had a reservation for one night but ended up arriving a day early in Córdoba and there was no problem arranging an extra night for us. The staff were friendly, and our room for three people actually turned out to be an apartment with 4 single beds, a sofa bed, with a kitchen and dining area. We had breakfast... More

Maestre has more than one entrance so be careful that you go to the correct one. Lobbies are in a traditional Spanish style and quite beautiful. We expected a room but instead were sent about 50 yards down the street and into what has to be one of the largest hotel rooms in Spain. There were three queen beds, an... More

My only complaint was that is was cold but very nice receptionist gave me a heater & there was a warm blanket in closet plus water made lots of noise but no big deal. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I loved everything about this Hotel. I had a large apartment at the front of the Hotel with three large windows opening on to a Juliete balcony. The apartment had a large lounge, fully equiped kitchen and dining area and a private bedroom and bathroom to the back, which overlooked a pretty patio area. Although you could hear the traffic... Many good things about this hotel. It was relatively inexpensive, clean, hospitable with a friendly receptionist. Centrally located in the old town, near to good restaurants and sightseeing. Great access to hop-on, hop-off buses. Drawbacks were in the details: a dripping cistern which could be heard through the closed door at night, broken toilet paper holder, and the walls were... Had only one night here on the way elsewhere. We were pleasantly surprised to find we'd been allocated an apartment. We managed to park right outside and a lot of the city's sights are in walking distance. Would definitely recommend this establishment and hope to stay there again some day.

We always stay here when in Cordoba. 3 types of accommodation - hostal, hotel and apartments. We've stayed in all of them, apartments are best and very cheap. Right in the centre, friendly staff and best of all they have a garage for parking if you arrange it in advance! Will be back again next month.

The hostel is like a rabbit warren, certainly not for anyone who doesn't like climbing stairs. Interesting wall tiles in the public areas. Rooms barely adequate, in our bathroom you could only use the toilet with your knees up against the facing wall. Rated as one star which is fair. Good location made up for the poor nature of the...
