We cannot believe that this hotel has only an official rating of one star from the Spanish tourist office, it should be at least a three in our opinion. Perhaps no bar or pool have reduced it's rating but the one star should not put you off at all. The hotel is a short walk from the wonderful old town... More

Stayed in a triple room for one evening in Cordoba with my two adult sons. Small kitchenette and 2 twins beds in the bedroom and a futon in the living area was all we needed. Cordoba was hot and the hotel was quiet and cool for our mid day siesta. Well located for both historical area as well as lots... More

We could not fault this hostel - we had everything we needed in our room, which was real old world charm, just as we like it. We could not fault the staff (so helpful) and we told of a great restaurant to eat at, Tabernas salinas (great restaurant) by the receptionist. We had a great buffet breakfast the next morning,... This is an adequate hotel not far from the cathedral. The price is riffraff at 42€. No breakfast is included. We had a few ants in our bathroom, but we felt like the place was clean. There is a parking garage which they will not reserve. We arrived about 2PM and got the next to the last place. Parking is... More

Hotel Maestre is a very charming hotel with a central location for all the sights in Cordoba. It has a very homely, relaxed feel about it and beautifully decorated. If you are driving there - it can be a bit tricky to find as there are quite a lot of one way streets to navigate. The reception staff are very... More

I would like to think that I am not one to complain about every little flaw in my chosen accommodation but one of the primary functions of any hotel is to provide a good night's sleep. It was not my experience at Hotel Maestre. Reviews were favourable for the most part so I was looking forward to my stay. Unfortunately... More

We spent two nights in Hotel Maestre and found it to be ideal particularly as we were with a car and could use their underground car park. We didn't take breakfast in the hotel but used the nearby bars for a coffee.

Thought we would have breakfast in the courtyard, instead the hotel staff sent us down the street to the hostel maestre. The breakfast was not very good, coffee terrible, same old ham & plastic cheese, watered down orange juice & white bread that doesn't toast. Rooms have extremely small bathrooms, noisy streets below, but it is in an excellent location.

In addition to the cleanness and the beauty of the Spanish room, I love their Patio garden so Andlucia. Very good value for the price. I could spend the time so Andalucia and it was easy to visit the monuments From here.

The Maestre was five stars for us in Cordoba but with a small price tag. Everything about the Maestre was more than I expected, the parking garage was clean and accessible, the front desk every so accomodating, the hotel was spotlessly clean. Our rooms ended up being an apartment with a kitchen, living room and, yes, count them - four... More
