Great location with parking. Signage to the hotel from the highway was excellent. Rooms were clean and very quiet. Breakfast was served at the Hostel portion....could use some help. Room safe worked, which could not be said for all hotels. Location of the hotel was close to all major sites in the city. Would highly recommend this place. more

Hotel Maestre is in the heart of the historic district on a quiet street. It's rooms are very comfortable with good airconditioning - necessary most of the year in Cordoba - and spacious bathrooms. The two courtyards are filled with plants and one has comfortable tables and chairs. The Wi-Fi does not work in the rooms but is fast and... more

The have a hotel and a hostal. I stayed at the hostal. The place was very beautiful, with a typical andalusian internal garden, very cosy and beatiful place to be. The room wasn´t big, but had a clean bathroom and was confortable enough. The furniture is a bit old, but that´s not a problem. The floor was a bit dusty,... more

This place is exactly how it is portrayed online. I got info regarding it in Fodor's Guide book. It was only 55 euros for the four of us for one night. The local bus comes right near it. We could walk to La Mezquita. Breakfast is 5 euros, its decent. Staff was very friendly. They let us use the laptop... more

the good: the bad: bad location -- too far to enjoy a walk to the mesquita or other sights. staff was rude and unfriendly. hotel/room were not clean. there was disgusting hose (from who knows were) draining into our bathtub. beds were stiff and uncomfotable. room was dark (no natural light), dank (humidity draining into tub), and clautrophobic (low ceilings,... more

This is the most unique hotel perk I think I have ever seen. The hotel has free Wi-Fi, and if you do not have a laptop computer to use they will loan you one free of charge. We kept the one they gave us in our room overnight with no questions asked. The Wi-Fi coverage was not that great in... more

Cordoba is a very nice city to visit- only that our experience made the city a real nightmare. We went to Cordoba with a private coach with our school and we stayed at the hotel Maestre. From the name and its location is sounded like a nice and comfortable place. When we entered we situated ourselves into the rooms and... more

We stayed in one of the hostal apartments..Reasonable reception to start with as we started off at the hotel part.Shunted down to the hostal and we not good Spanish speaker and reception there not strong on English, which didn't help later on. Kitchen cutlery and pots/pans needed thorough clean,no plug for sink and reception indifferent about getting us one-we finally got... more

As Cordoba is a very nice but rather small city the location of your hotel is not that important. I would suggest staying between the river's Pte San Rafael / Pte Miraflores & the Jardines de la Agricultura. The vicinity of the railway station is too far. We ( Belgian couple, 50+) stayed in Hostal Maestre a few days between... more
