We stayed for 2 nights and found the Parador very comfortable...pleasant spacious room overlooking car park.but no matter ! The spacious grounds are pleasant, quite steeply terraced down to a lovely swimming pool..downside it didn't open until 12 noon, so no early morning swim possible ! We ate in the restaurant the 1st night.I chose for a starter the Salmorejo (type... More

This was our 2nd parador using our 5 day pass. Although we booked the room 9 months in advance we were given a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the parking lot - not that there's a great view of the city or should I say that compared to every other parador we stayed in (6 total) there's not much... This parador was hard for our GPS to find, but once we were there the view from the balcony area of Cordoba was very nice. The grounds around the parador were beautiful and they had a wonderful swimming pool which we did not use but sure looked nice. We were greeted okay by the front desk - got coupon for... More

Although more modern than most Paradors this hotel was brilliant. Fantastic views over the city and the best swimming pools I have seen in a Parador. Unusually for us we ate in the restaurant overlooking the city with a guitar playing performing , it was extremely good food in a wonderful environment. Overall , good value for money.

This is the forth parador we have stayed in during our Spain holiday. Am finally a little irritated with the fact that although we booked and paid for the four of us travelling together, the other couple always seem to be given a larger room than we do. Also on this occassion our welcome drinks were only given to two... More

Lovely hotel (not really a historic Parador but their are ruins out the back!) - we had a balcony room at the front with a lovely view (not sure if that is standard). Staff were very good and efficient. Lovely pool. We found it quite easy to find (well signposted). Not close to the city centre but a quick (and... More

A nice parador unlike your normal parador theme and style, a bit modern but outdated. We booked a family room for three with a balcony, but when arrived at 10.00 pm there were no more family room and we were upgraded to a Junior suite. The kitchen and the menu were one of the best on this trip, we had... More

This Parador was quite nice with large, comfortable rooms; ours had a balcony with a nice view of the town. It isn't close to any of the sights, however taxis are easy enough to get. This was only our 2nd Parador stay, but it had none of the historic charm of the Parador in Carmona; it's basically a modern hotel.... More

Our night at the Córdoba Parador on 26th June 2014 was almost the final night of our lengthy tour of Spain and the south west of France, before spending a few days at our favourite spot in Zahara de la Sierra, Hotel los Tadeos; then a quick trip to Jerez before the short journey back to our home in Andalucia....
